Has Trump started bringing back the manufacturing of his goods to the USA?
What about Ivanka's goods?
Wondering...

yeah, i was wondering that too. he certainly dodged the question during the election. i might almost be impressed if they actually did it. but i doubt they will. he will do some kind of double speak about why he can't manufacture here. he will say he doesn't have control over it, he just licenses his name and it's up to the manufacturer where they have the stuff made, foreign countries devalue their currency so much that it's just cheaper to make it there.....blah blah blah.....

Well, you might at least give him a chance to get sworn in before you start demanding he live up to his promises

Well, you might at least give him a chance to get sworn in before you start demanding he live up to his promises i don't remember him promising, but i think it should have been the first thing on his list... and since he won't even start working until monday.... but yea, he could have done all of this while running, its not a "president" thing its a business owner thing. he could have done so at any time and used it well to his advantage.

Well, you might at least give him a chance to get sworn in before you start demanding he live up to his promises I understand what you're saying and I'll wait and see if he lives up to everything else, and I truly hope he does. I would love nothing more than to have to admit I was wrong about him, but he doesn't have to wait to be president to make this happen.

Well, you might at least give him a chance to get sworn in before you start demanding he live up to his promises He could stop taking credit for jobs staying in the US when he had NOTHING to do with their decision to staying 😉 I'm not sure where I was demanding anything either, I'm a curious gal and was wondering.

Has Trump started bringing back the manufacturing of his goods to the USA? What about Ivanka's goods? Wondering... How could he - he's no longer running the company. This is your "statement"/question/answer? For a man who campaigned on #maga, who has trashed companies for building outside the USA, causing declines in their stock, who has promised great jobs, and has screamed about a 35% tax on those who take or keep their businesses outside the US, one would think that he'd maybe start with what he can control and influence. His entire family campaigned and were all for maga! After all, it was he who emphatically stated that he didn't have to give his sons control, that as President he could run them. Maybe set an example of how he is maga? Too much to ask, right?

He's the only President I've known who thinks he gets weekends off and only has to work Monday through Friday.

If he truly believed what he was saying and wanted to apply it to his own products, he would have been doing that even before he ran for President.

Well, you might at least give him a chance to get sworn in before you start demanding he live up to his promises In all honesty, the only time he should have the ability to do those things is before he takes office - that whole divestment of interests thing that he seems to feel is unimportant.

I'm not a big fan of Trump, but I think the word NOTHING is inaccurate. According to Ford CEO, its true that Trump offered them no 'deals' but the pro-business environment Trump wishes to create IS a reason for the decision. It will invest $700 million in Michigan instead, creating 700 new U.S. jobs. Ford (F) CEO Mark Fields said the investment is a "vote of confidence" in the pro-business environment being created by Donald Trump. However, he stressed Ford did not do any sort of special deal with the president-elect.Jan 3, 2017

Well, you might at least give him a chance to get sworn in before you start demanding he live up to his promises Well he could have chosen not to have the goods, he has his name on,manufactured in a different country to start with, long before he became President. Or do you expect different ethics by a President to your business corporations? I'll bet my life that he's also bought " foreign made" goods to build and furnish his hotels and golf courses. To call out other businesses and expect them not to do exactly what he has been doing for years is a bit hypocritical IMO. Now don't get me wrong, I fully support buying " home grown" goods but I also expect others to practice what they preach by their own actions.

So yes, nothing IS an accurate term. It might not be every single instance but it is still true.

There should be a big demand for new employees with the Washington DC road crews. It is going to take a lot of workers to keep the roads repaired from the military parades he will be having. Just like his best buds, Putin, Hitler and the creepy little NK leader, he wanted to have military vehicles in his parade. He did not get that, this time, He did get the 20 jet flyover. I honestly fear for our future. Jobs will probably end up being the least of our worries.

There were instances (or at least one) that the company had to make a statement saying he had nothing to do with it after he gave himself credit.

I did not say that he had influenced 0. I quoted what I actually did say, so that there is no confusion.
