My friend has watched me creating in PaintShop Pro and printing occasional projects, like Christmas cards and tags. She asked if I'd teach her to make cards, and so we planned our Valentine project. Yesterday she completed her two cards - from elements I printed and cut with the Silhouette. I was slower and made only one card in the hour we had - but then I was passing on my sage advice, being a seasoned paper person! It turned out even better than I hoped. There's a little more detail on the blog Get Ready For Valentine's Day.

I love your cards so much. Very pretty. I am a PaintShop Pro girl too. It is really nice to hear somebody else using the program. I know the popular one everyone has transitioned too is Photoshop Elements. I could never leave PaintShop Pro.

@amayalylac There's a few PSP users around, but not as many in the scrapbook world as those who use Photoshop etc. I'm learning Photoshop, just for the fun of it, but where PSP wins hands down for me is customising the workspace and vectors. Oh, and tubes, though I don't use them as often as I ought. I can't work in Photoshop for long because the added mouse clicks to do anything wear out my hand, always going via menus.

jane- The vectors hands down is the winner for me in PSP. I do use Inkscape. It is so nice to be able to work with vectors in a full graphics program. I love customizing the workspace too. Being able to save different workspaces for different graphic needs.
