I don't think it was the right place for the hat, especially after Time magazine put the hat on the cover.
That said, this tweet is stupid, "Travis County Judge Wears "Pussy Hat" During Court Hearings. could you expect to have a fair trial especially as a man if you saw this?"
If you're a man who is not an asshole, or guilty of a crime, you'll be fine. The Women's March was not anti-male. In fact, lots of men of all ages were marching with us.

(Also, pussy hat/pussyhat isn't a bad thing. There are pussy bow/pussybow blouses, after all, and they've been around for decades. No one garbles the letters when discussing that style of bow, so I don't understand why people do it for a hat with kitty ears.)

I think that judges should leave their political views at home and I wonder if those who support her for wearing the hat in court would ALSO support a judge wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat (or some other cause they disagree with)?
There is a time and place for political activism and the judges' bench isn't the place.
