Yes I am talkative today!
So what is your average per layout for pictures? Please specify if you are doing a one page or two page?
I tend to do single pages the past few years and average I would say three photos or more. I LOVE photosheet and use it on almost every layout so most times I get 2 4X6 on there but they will have at least 4 photos but more likely 6 (love the grid 2,3,4). What about you? What do you think is your average for ONE page, TWO page layout?

Depends on the album. The family album, I use 12x12 divided sheet protectors. On average; at least 4, probably more. For themed albums, it's generally less because they are 8.5x11 albums.

It's hard to answer that in a poll because I scrap one and two page layouts in 12x12 and 8.5x11. If I'm scrapping a single page layout I'd say I use two pictures most often. If it's a two page layout it would probably be around 7. But those are just averages. I've done a few one picture single page layouts lately and I've done some two page 12x12 layouts with 10-12 pictures.

I probably average 2-3 pictures on a single page and 6ish on a double page layout. I make way more single page layouts than double pagers.

Don't feel like y'all have to use the poll (I just wanted to see if I could do one LOL!)

I didn't do the poll because it's too hard to choose. I probably do between 3 & 6 on average. But I've done my fair share of 1 photo pages and tons that have 8.
And whether it's a one or two page layout depends on how many pics I have.

Totally depends on whether it is one or two pages. Maybe the poll would be clearer if it asked "per page" instead of per layout. I will answer the poll assuming it is per page, but for my double page layouts I will always have at least 6 photos in total. I am an "event" scrapper, although I can make anything into an "event". I don't scrap many "just because" or "emotion" pages (those with titles like "Bliss")

I didn't do the poll because it totally depends but probably 2-3 most often. I scrap 9x12 and do a mix of one and two page layouts depending in the album/occasion/how many photos I have.
I do sometimes use one photo as well - possibly more often when I'm scrapping photos of my niece.

I voted 2, but I'm not sure I have an average. I scrap anything from 1-28, 1 includes 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 and panoramics. I also scrap both 12x12 and double spreads. Usually, I'll do 12x12 for every day LO's, and both for vacations. They get both...I'll scrap 1-2 focal pics, then, if I have a few more I really like, I'll do a spread.

I run the gamut. I've done one photo on one page up to four-five, even six on one page. Depends on the size photo and whether I've done some cropping. Two page layouts will range from four on up to however many pictures I have of an event, again depending on size and cropping. To answer your question though, I try to, on average, place no more than four on any page if I'm working with uncropped 3x5, 4x6 photos.

I do both double and single pagers. For single I would say 2 is the average. For double I would say 5-6 for an average.

usually it depends on how many photos I have that I want to use but...
one-page layout? typically 1-3 photos, occasionally 4...typically if I have more, then it'll be a 2-page layout. The majority of my 4-photo one-page layouts are showcasing the photos (nature photography) and don't have much/any journalling beyond a date.
two-page layout? at least 3 photos but more typically 4-6, 7-8 isn't rare but more than that is typically something like an airshow where page 2 is a grid of small photos
I scrap primarily 8.5x11 - I do a few themed books that are 8x8 and they are usually 1-2 photos for a single-page and 3-5 for a double-page layout - and I usually do singles for this format.

I voted 6, but thats mostly my 2 page grandchildren pages. What you do sounds the same with photosheet. For my travel pages I like to pick my best pics and have them printed 5x7 or even 8x10 and have as many 1 per page as possible.( Because I have an overinflated opinion of myself as a photographer.)

Thanks for all the tips on the poll, I will try to word it better next time but YAY that I can do it now LOL!
I love that we all run the gamut from 1-28, I think that is the highest number I noted! WOW!
Keep those responses coming!
Glad I am not annoying y'all yet with my threads! I figure maybe mojo will come if I keep talking!

what is photo sheet??
My current book is 1 solid 12x12 that is normally 1-2 pictures and more embellishments with a corresponding 12x12 pocket page as the other side. The pocket page will have some big and little pics, I would say between 4-10 pictures.

I downloaded on my computer that I can put 2-like 20 or something pictures on one 4X6 in various grids on said 4X6 or whatever size photo paper you have. My photo printer mainly does 4X6 but I can also do8X10 too! Hope that helps! Save

I had it printed at persnickety and it looked amazing! and yes!! I'm with @elaynef - thanks for all the fun, easy to answer questions. *I had to combine 6 grids of 8, twice or something.

WOW! Keep those responses coming! Glad I am not annoying y'all yet with my threads! I figure maybe mojo will come if I keep talking! Here's one I did with 29...they are mostly approx. wallet sized, with a few squares thrown in. It was for my niece's graduation album, and she had tons of random friend pics. This was the easiest way to get them all in w/o adding pages and bulk(This album had around 60 pages in it!) I have done 5 of these albums now, and have at least 1, if not 2 LO's just like this in each one. I like that I don't have to leave a lot out. They start at around 16 photos, and go all the way up to 29/30. (Click to enlarge) Here's one of the smaller ones in her sister's album:

Usually 2 pictures for a single 12x12 layout.. but of course that isn't always the case.. but 2 seems to be the average.

I wanted to say the most I put on a layout is a BUNCH.. I am at work, but it was a 12x12 page and I had a template that fit on the page with one inch cutouts, so each picture was exactly the same size and spaced apart exactly the same way...but I would use one picture and cut it into squares and make one big picture.. UGGG I don't think I am making sense. one of my favorite layouts. I think I did that one back 10 years ago. It was mostly scenic mountain pictures with waterfalls and trees...
