I watched A Night At the Met on youtube. It was a stand up show he did in the mid 80s. A few nights before I was at Catch a Rising Star with friends and he was a surprise guest. He did over 20 minutes - getting material ready for the big show. The next day we were walking to Bloomingdales and saw him on the street and thanked him for a great show the night before. The Met show is special to me because of meeting him - plus it is hysterical.
The next night I downloaded Dead Poets Society. DH and I had not watched it in over 15 years.

Mrs Doubtfire was on TV last night so I watched that. Will watch Good Will Hunting tonight.
I wonder is he knew how much he was adored. he is the only actor that I have been upset at dying

We've watched The Birdcage, Dead Poet's Society, Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, World's Best Dad (not a great movie), and have more planned for today.

We watched Dead Poets Society and my sister watched Patch Adams.
On Apple TV they have a list of all the movies he was in . Some were quite old and looked pretty funny!
I really liked him in One Hour Photo...he plays a creepy man who is obsessed with a lady and her family.

So we watched Patch Adams last night and I loved it, so so good. It was my first time and I enjoyed it. The lines about suicide hurt my heart.
Then we watched August Rush, another one I had never seen. It was a great movie and he was phenomenal in it. BUT I didn't want to see Robin Williams play a bad guy. That's not what I wanted to watch as a personal memorial, if you know what I mean?
May cleanse the palate with a little Dead Poets Society today.

I watched Hook last night and had tears running down my face the entire 2 and a half hours. I'm not sure I will be able to watch another one for a while, I had a really hard time last night.

Can't yet. Too soon.
Will probably start with Good Will Hunting. Then Dead Poet's Society. I haven't seen that one in several years.

Popeye. I know the popular opinion is that is not a good movie, but my husband and I both love it and laughed a lot while watching it. I love Dead Poets Society and his acting in the dramatic roles, but we wanted to watch something with him that showcased his amazing ability to make people laugh. We are watching Aladdin tonight. Going to watch some Mork and Mindy on .hulu plus during my day off this week.

No, but only because I don't own any. I need to remedy that. I've wanted to watch a bunch of his movies ever since his passing.

The Fisher King. Demons chased him in the movie just as they chased him in real life. It was really hard to watch. It's one of my favorites of his.

No but I showed my daughter his episode of Inside the Actors Studio. I watch it a couple times a year. It's hysterical. James Lipton has no control of him during the full 2 hours. I wasn't expecting to cry through the first 20 minutes of it.

I just can't yet. I have thought about it but it just hurts. Hard to explain... When I do decide to watch one of his movies, it'll be one of his comedies. I'd like to find some episodes of "Mork and Mindy" too.

Cinemax was showing what dreams may come and I caught the last 20 minutes. Omg, some scenes were heart wrenching now that he left in that manner.

I haven't yet but did look up list of his movies to see what I missed. Then I thought, I'm going to slowly try and watch them all in order of when film came out. Might take me forever, but that's ok.
