We ordered a large and heavy color printer and our california king bed from Amazon. No issues with either. Amazon has pretty awesome customer service.

I AM impressed with some of the things you people purchase on amazon! Wow! I thought I was the queen of amazon, but now I realize I'm but a lowly peasant compared to you all!
We bought an exercise bike from amazon. We have Prime, so shipping was free, and we ordered it one afternoon and it arrived the next morning. We must live near a distribution center.
My mom is in assisted living 3000 miles away, and is blind and frail so she can't really shop anymore. If she needs something, I order it on Amazon and she gets it in two days. She loves getting mail, so it's a win-win.
I really love Amazon.

we bought a large screen tv from Amazon - no problems with the shipping, but I did have to go to the UPS depot and pick it up since I was not home.

I will share my Amazon experience. A few years ago we ordered a large-screen Samsung TV from Amazon. A few days after we put it up, it started having problems. We eventually had to call in Samsung warranty service, and the technician could not fix it. He was going to try to order a part for it but wasn't making any promises. I asked how common the problem is and he said pretty rare for that TV. I felt like we had been sold a lemon! I sent Amazon an email expressing my disappointment with the TV and told them I felt like we were stuck with a dud. About three hours after I sent the email, my cellphone rang. I picked it up and it was Amazon customer service. The representative said, "You are not stuck with that TV. We will order you a replacement and send a truck to pick up the defective one." I was floored they CALLED me. And yep, they sent a truck for the broken TV and we got a new TV that we never had any problems with.
I know Amazon isn't perfect, but that experience has made me a very loyal customer. I love Amazon!

DH ordered a lawnmower last week and it was fine. Last Christmas I ordered several large tools some I couldn't lift to bring in the house but they arrived just fine and didn't have any problems with them. I did have an issue with a set of DVDs the case was cracked but I just sent it back. It was through amazon and not amazon itself. So I had to send it back wait for them to get it for my refund to be credited and then I reordered and it was fine.

Amazon has amazing customer service so I wouldn't worry too much but do inspect it because shipping companies are very good at breaking stuff. I bought a computer from Amazon, the computer I'm using right now lol
