A bit more eye rolling than peeking thru the curtains.
This Canadian is eye rolling a lot and wondering what kind of qualifications does a person need to be elected? Simply a US citizen and have a tonne of money?
Did you know that the Conservative Party (Stephen Harper's old gang on the hill) wrote a letter to our Liberal Party Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that they were offering all the help that they could, including their former ministers & former advisors to help to ensure that all sides are covered if/when needed, when making deals with the US Government. That is like the Democrats offering all their help to the Republicans.
Why: BECAUSE THEY CARE ABOUT OUR COUNTRY, CANADA! Now that is CANADIAN.

Yes. I saw that on my FB feed. Some of us seriously think we are watching a bad reality tv show. It just seems more unreal each passing day. Though today in my area it was a nice warm -10C and not snowing.

So if I bring copious amounts of Ketchup Chips, will someone cut a hole in the hedge wall and let me in? I promise to keep to myself I'm a huge Detroit Red Wings fan, and only talk about my summers growing up in Canada, visiting Australia and living in England.

Yes. Like watching a train rolling down a hill. I just heard that he is drafting a new travel ban that will supposedly address the concerns of the previous travel ban. I am done with the whole mess. I usually travel to the U.S at least once a year, sometimes more. I am not going to do that while he is president and people are being discriminated against. I am not worried about myself, I am not from any of the affected countries. But I feel like if I travel to the US I am saying I support what is going on and I do not. I realize in the big scheme of things my tourist dollars do not amount to a lot but I feel like I need to protest in my own way.

I'm a little too worried about world peace and the environment to eat chips as I watch what is happening. To be honest, I feel very sorry for you and am worried for my country as hatred and bigotry are becoming more visible here. So sad these days. Annette

This might be me--with plain ripple chips or Sour Cream & Onion, please--if my neighbour were simply moving around their lawn furniture at odd hours of the night, or pulling up the flowers they planted yesterday &/or talking to the trees while they did it...
But now I feel more like I am watching the neighbour setting fire to his yard and yelling at the neighbourhood kids that "This is all YOUR fault!" while telling everyone around that the fire department can't be trusted because there is a Martian in control of it.
So I can't decide whether to go over there and try to mediate the situation, shut off the lights and pretend no one is home while I hide under the bed, or find one of those old bunkers from the 50's. This is pretty scary stuff for your next door neighbour.

Fiirst of all, the only chips worth eating are bbq, salt & vinegar, or regular/rippled.
Second, it's too scary to take that lightly.

Getting closer every day to making legitimate plans to do just that. I've always loved the idea of going to Canada, and Trump just seems like the right kind of push I need...
