I just got everyone to sleep here. Going to start working on more beads doing yellow black and cream right now. Hopping to have them done by monday so i can cut some really pretty blues and green. I am not looking forward to doing the white one. But I do use a lot of them at times. I am really looking forward to getting all the beads color done so i can see if a few ideal i have will work.
So what are you all doing anything fun crafty?

I had two photo albums out tonight and will finish up in the morning.. I am making sure all the pics are labelled.. taking them to a Girl Scout "Thinking Day" event tomorrow. I have visited Pax Lodge in London.. and went on a camping program with them.. and took my GS troop to New Zealand for two weeks 10 yrs ago.
got the page protectors on. last night, tonight and tomorrow night, I am doing my nanny work.. watching kids. tonight was super super easy.. we played a wicked game of monopoly.. and mom and dad came home the minute I was turning off the lights. tomorrow night will be a little more of a challenge. but fun.

Saturday morning here - 7:30, which is too early to be up on a weekend, but I had to get up to use the bathroom and couldn't go back to sleep. We have guests arriving Wednesday, so no paper crafting for me this weekend - my craft room double as our guest room, and things need to be put away to give them room. Everything is mostly tidy - I just need to consign a few things to the cellar for a week or so.

Well the morning I spent in tears, but then again I went to therapy so that's to be expected, I think.
Went and got stuff to make a photo board for my dad's birthday party.
Saw the little old lady I take care of. Her husband was furious with her that I was drinking water and not tea at their house. I don't like hot drinks and I don't like tea. I need the water to stop coughing plus I like drinking it. He was very upset. I said it's my choice. Don't get mad at her. He was still mad. (Ask me what I am drinking now? Water...)
Made dinner which was uneventful but turned out really well. I am not sure what I did differently.
DS said he had to take his suit jacket for alterations because it is way too big on him now. I wish I had that problem. He has great metabolism now. He has gone down 3 or 4 pant sizes. He is pretty thin without being skinny. He looks great.
Everything is progressing fairly peacefully right now. Knock on wood.

I'm at the Brisbane Lions vs Collingwood women's AFL match. 😁 Gilly. I would love to see one of these games. My 3 great-nieces all play Aussie Rules football, but are a bit young for the Women's AFL yet. They love it and try to get to as many of the games as they can.

I was horribly nauseous immediately after supper so went to bed. Now I'm wide awake, it's 12:14am. So I'm "farming" in game on iPad called township. Super addictive game that doesn't require you to harass Facebook friends or anything if anyone needs a game....fair warning though, everyone I've told who's started playing is addicted!

It is just past midnight here i am going to give my self until 3 am to work. New meds are not helping my normal night owl self. But i am feeling a lot better because of it.
Wish my studio could work as a guest room, I just have to much stuff in here and no places to hide it all if someone would stay in here. Ok don't even have space for a bed right now.
It's a good to have a easy night getting little one down.
Some people feel it's rude not to offer a guest a drink. i know my own grandmother would have a fit it we did not offer people drinks. But most of the time it was sweet tea. I still do it even with my own mom when she here.
I was all over the place last night. End up calling it a night and getting a snuggle in with M.
AFL- must be what we call soccer right?
I am heading back to work for a few more hours.

We don't have a choice. We live in a 2 BR apartment, so it has to do double duty. It is also why our cellar is so important
Nope. AFL is Australian Rules Football, a completely different and unique to Australia game. Soccer is called soccer in Australia too.
Here is a video to show a bit about AFL, for those of you who have never seen/heard of it.

We babysat our little grandson last evening and didn't get to bed until 2am. It's just after 9am now and I'm having a nice cuppa then I need to start stripping wallpaper in our office so we can get the plasterer in.

Saturday morning and after weeks of feeling ill I actually feel pretty good today. But DH has the lurgy now so I think it will be a quiet weekend. I'm working in some crochet projects to keep me distracted...my appointment for biopsy results is on Monday.

I've been making blankets for a charity that re-purposes wedding dresses into gowns for stillborn babies. They give parents a gown and a blanket and hat/booties. It's good for me because I can make them without thinking too hard. But now that the steroid haze is clearing a bit,I'm working on a cardigan that will be for me

When I was little we had a 'squares' blanket my Grandma made that became known as the poorly blanket which we snuggled up with if we were off school or not well. I want to do something similar for my grandson...but it's so long since I knitted!!

I have heard of the wedding dress idea, and of blankets, but not the two together before. gar - I took up knitting again about 8 years ago, just before we came here to Germany, after many years of not knitting. It's amazing how quickly it all came back. I keep thinking i'd like to do a blanket from all my left over bits, but other projects keep getting in my way. Right now, I have just started some socks for my DiL in a color called 'Lucky Day' - she is about to start IVF, so I thought it was appropriate.
