Since Worldwin stopped making 12 x 12 in their doublemates line I am nearing the point I need to find some really good cardstock. What type(s) would you recommend for the following - I think different brands probably work better for different things
Thick for 3-D projects -
Die Cutting Machine (I have a Pazzles) -
Stamping -
Card Bases -
Basic Srapbooking -
Textured -
Smooth -
Thank you for anyone who has any comments that could help me make informed purchases.

I use Papertrey Ink cardstock for card making because it's very sturdy - 110lb weight and designed for stamping. You can get a sampler to try out some of the colours and the stamper's select white cardstock is great for bases. For scrapping I mostly use AC cardstock because that's the one that's readily available here. It's a textured cardstock that cuts well with my Cameo.

I like basic Bazzill cardstock. I also like the double sided EP that they sell to match their collections. AC is good, too. I only scrapbook and make the occasional card, so I don't know how they are for stamping.
I HATE HATE HATE the DCWV cardstock stacks (paper pads). They are too slippery and things won't adhere. They also don't cut with a nice smooth edge. Forget about die cutting with it.

I'm hoarding my Doublemates. Worldwin still makes a thicker cardstock. A lot of it is smooth textured. I get mine through www.thepapermillstore.com. I have a Pazzles too and the Worldwin seems to cut better than AC, Bazzill, or Core'dinations.

Thank you everyone for you input on this. travelscrapper2 I can almost always get a good cut with the Doublemates on the Pazzles but often have trouble with the other brands. The seem to have too much fiber??? The cut often works but then it won't come off the map in one piece??

I have a Cameo and love either the American Crafts CS or the Recollections packs that you get from Michael's. Honestly, I think it cuts better than Bazzill because Bazzil has a bit of rag in it's composition that the blade can get hung up on. Both the AC and the Recollections CS that I buy are very smooth.
But I still love Bazzill for my manual die cuts and most of my scrapbooking needs. I like the bit of texture that it has and love the saturated colors.
For stamping, I use Neenah. Smooth and I get nice crisp lines. For card bases, I just grab what matches or that I have handy.
I've gotten chip board from Amazon and it's nice thick stuff. I've never tried it in my digital cutter and what I buy is too thick for my manual dies (other than the steel cut dies). If I'm using my wafer thin dies, I'll use a cracker or cereal box. It's free and I'm doing a little reuse/recycling.

While still using my inventory of (pre-American Crafts-acquired) textured Bazzill for traditional scrapbooking, which incorporates diecutting (with a Sizzix Big Kick) & stamping, I plan to try My Colors by My Mind's Eye (see http://mycolors.myshopify.com).
I was told by a LSS clerk while traveling out of state that the original/former owners of Bazzill left American Crafts & are the creative force behind MME My Colors. She noted similarities in color names (eg Bazzill Atlantic vs My Colors Atlantic Shores) allow scrappers to match the new My Colors with Bazzill colors, while My Colors offers the weight, textures, & color consistency that made Bazzill popular (& AC has subsequently changed). HTH.
