I wear these in black, brown and navy. I can wear them with dress pants or capris. I even walk the dog with them on our hills with no problems. Maybe they are dressy enough though. Clark Shoes |

I like the ballet flats at J. Crew. Incredibly comfy and flexible (I teach on my feet the days I teach, and I take the bus and walk everywhere). I think they are cute. They aren't cheap at full price, but there are regular sales.

is too much to ask for shoes that don't make my feet hurt just looking at them but are kind of cute too? Yes. Because we are not men. I find it amazing that only the female of our species have feet that narrow dramatically at the toe, to a point, no less.  But really, good luck on your shoe search. |

I have had so many foot issues that comfort is all I care about. Plus, even a cute shoe is not cute ones it stretches out to a size 11 sad face

Yep. My problem is I'm going on a girl's trip soon and we're going to be walking a lot. None of us know what to do for shoes. We want to look cute (we aren't tennis shoe type girls). But all the brands that are associated with being "comfortable" like Clarks and Dr Scholls and that clog brand scream old lady to me. Why can't there be something cute with cushioning in it? I have this issue too and recently was excited to find some tolerable flats on sale at JC Penney when I wasn't even looking for them. I think they're cuter in person and very comfortable. I have been wearing them with leggings or boyfriend jeans. cushy Zibu flats |

I have very sensitive feet. I have a few pair of Clarks that I like, and Skechers have some cute styles (our outlet mall has a Skechers store and they have more styles that I don't see other places). I like the Earthies that were posted above. Do they run true to size?

I went on a girls trip to Walt Disney World last year (tons of walking) and I wore Sketchers Go Walks. My feet never hurt at all. They have come out with some cuter styles and colors in the past couple years.

I had just seen an ad for some very cute flats. Earthies bindi in black. So cute. Never heard of Earthies so no idea how they feel but website has great looking shoes that are supposedly comfortable. I have to wear "good" shoes - my feet are both flatter than flat and narrow. Comfort is definitely my priority. I LOVE my Earth brand shoes (Earthies is one of their lines). Mine have a small heel, so I can't attest to their flats, but I am absolutely amazed at how long I can wear them without aching feet. www.earthbrands.com |

Susie_Homemaker let me try again Weird can't get it to link to a specific shoe... let me try it a different way. I can't get the link to work... but if you go to ninewest.com and look at zance buckle loafers or xalan smoking flats I also like the anastagia pointy toe or there are a lot of black leather slip ons that are perfect for walking on vacation.

Another vote for Skechers. Any style with memory foam insoles have been very good for my feet after a day of walking.

I have a pair of Jessica Simpson ballet flats with a 0.5" heel that are very comfortable. I have bunions that make it difficult to find comfortable shoes of any style, and these work well for me.

These!I am on my feet all day every day. I work in an elementary school. I have one black pair of these and I love them. I bought mine from JC Penney. They were about $35. The colors other than black look old ladyish to me, but black is ok. Mine aren't perforated like this...

I agree that at least a little heel is needed for comfort. Check out Cobb Hill or Merrill shoes. By far my favorite for comfortable good looking shoes that are not sneakers. I have both dressy styles and boots and they are some of the most comfortable shoes I have. Cobb Hill is made by New Balance which is known for running shoes, and Merrill also makes hiking boots, so their non-athletic shoes incorporate similar features for comfort. I can often find them online at sale prices. |

AGL I think these are really comfortable and attractive, but I think the price is a little steep. I have found them on sale or on the web cheaper. I have comfort issues and these feel good all day.

I just bought a nice pair online from Nordstrom, and I saw quite a few to choose from. I have terrible feet-a bunion on already-wide feet means there are so many styles that hurt. The had so many cute styles that were either flat, or slight wedge heel or (dare I say it) a kitten heel.

I have these fitflop Mary Janes,they do have a little platform but they are super comfortable. I wear them almost every day and i have gotten tons of compliments on them. A little pricy but I've had them for 2 years now and the comfort is worth it. I walk at least a mile in them to/from my lunch spot every day at work. |

Those of you that like Earthies. I just bought a pair with my regular size. I usually have no problem fitting into my size. However, these feel tight. Do you find that they run a bit smaller than other brands?

They are the Clark cloud steppers Sillian Jetay. They have plain andnthen a shimmer type. Love my navy shimmery ones. They feel a little dressier. |
