FYI: I was at Target today and that CD collection he put out at Christmas.. 10 CDs.. old and new music.. is on clearance for 8.98... Not to shabby for 10 CDs....  On the other hand I guess it didn't sell very good?? They had a lot of them at my store. But if you are missing any of the old songs or whatever... it's a good deal. |

I was just at my closest Target this weekend and they have re-designed the store a bit and pretty much have gotten rid of all the CDs - there is a small little section with some but that's it - if I had seen that Garth Brooks set for that price - I'd gotten it too - great deal!!

The CD collection was up front (not sure if they were in the CD section as well).. but they were on an end cap in front of one of the registers...
If I am not mistaken there was probably 100 of them there?? okay maybe 50??? LOL but there was a lot!
What I like about it is the way they divided up all the old songs... kinda grouped them differently from the original.. so it's not like buying all his old albums and they are put in a box.. There are 2 CDs per case and each one labeled differently (front and back).. so one is called Cowboy, one is called something else, etc... 20 different names...so the songs are all mixed up according to the style I guess. Then one CD is the newest one.

I love Garth and I have his Discography collections and I enjoy more of the Christmas classic singers like Bing Crosby.

I love Garth, he's one of my absolute favorites. DH bought me this set for Christmas and I really enjoy listening to it, plus I own most of his other collections. I would love if the would stop re-releasing his older music and really focus on coming out with new stuff a bit more frequently. I own all of his songs in multiple different collections, cd's and best of sets, but I never tire of him  |
