We needed new tile in our bathroom. I casually said to dh that we should do the laundry room also. He said "sure". Then I suggested a new toilet. Our old toilet was ivory, while our sink was white. We had replaced our vanity top a few years ago to granite and it came with a white sink. He said, "sure". Then.... I said, "Why not just replace the vanity?" and he said "sure". Then I showed him a pic of the Pottery Barn mirror... and he said "sure". He "sure" didn't catch on to my plan all along!  Here's a pic -  |

That looks really lovely. It sure does help when they keep repeating the word sure doesn't it? Sometimes if DH keeps agreeing with everything I say/ask I start to wonder if he's actually listening to me but I sure as heck not going to repeat myself to confirm it  |

I'm contemplating pinting all my vanities because bathroom renos aren't in the budget this year. Yours looks great! Thanks! I painting one of other vanities. I painted it black and it has held up really well. I primed it first with Zissner and then used the Sherwin Williams black trim paint. Very easy, super durable and it looks like a new vanity. Use the small "door and trim" sponge paint rollers. |

It's beautiful. You guys are a good team; designer, worker. Thanks! We do work well together for projects, although with this one he didn't do all the work. After years of projects, he has officially checked out. We hired someone to do the tile, install the toilet and vanity. Unfortunately the toilet was leaking after the guy installed it, so we had to reinstall it. I did the painting and we installed the mirror and fixture together. I think it helped with him saying "sure" because it didn't involve much more work for him. |

It looks wonderful! I'm always impressed when someone does the remodel themselves. DH & I would have been divorced long ago if we even attempted it. The crew started our bathroom remodel on Monday and I'm learning it's really hard to go back to 1 toilet in the house!

Gorgeous! We did something similar, but painted our vanity and linen cabinet.
I think we bought the same toilet. Ours was beige - goodbye 1980s!
