You can also do this if you are on a MacBook. It will take you back to the page you were looking at previously. This can be done on any internet page if you didn't open a new tab when you went to the page you're looking at.

It works both ways too, right or left. You just have to swipe in right spot, near edge.

I realized I had switched to the desktop version on my phone so I switched back to the mobile version and it still doesn't work.
