I would like to get one and there are so many so I'm just wanting input as to what you have used and if you like them or not.
Thanks.

We have a Brother P-touch. It was given to us, so I didn't do any research in how it compares to others. I do know that I was very surprised at the high price of refills when I first purchased them. This might be a factor in your decision-making.

I have a few but the favorite is the Dymo Labelwriter 450 Turbo. I can do file folder labels, address labels, shipping labels, postage, etc. You can add clipart and photos to the label. You can use any font on your computer, but it must be connected to your computer. It's not a hand held, where you type on the label maker itself. They do only print in black, though.

I have a Brother P-touch I got several years ago at Costco & I love it. As mentioned though, refills can be a bit pricey.

I have this one: Brother P-Touch Label Maker and I love, love, love it! (Yes, mine is pink - but you can get other colors if you want.) I like the ease of use of the keyboard-style layout. It has different font sizes and layouts that make it flexible for many kinds of projects. You can also buy a lot of different tape colors/font color combinations.

I have an inexpensive Brother P-touch as well. Don't buy your refills at the office supply store. It's half the price at Amazon.

I have the Dymo Plug-n-Play. It's relatively inexpensive (looks like it's only $25 on Amazon right now). I love it because you plug it into your computer via USB and can use all the fonts you have installed on your computer. You can buy various sizes and colors of the refill tapes, too.

I use a Dymo LetraTag, cheap to buy, and cartridges are cheap. I have 2 actually. My older one is in the basement for labeling stuff down there. I have used it so many times the last couple weeks that I've gone through 3 cartridges already. I bought it at Target.

How hard is it to remove the labels if you want to relabel something later (one week later, a few months or maybe even a year)?? I am trying to organize my sewing area. I don't have to have a label maker but it would be fun to have one.

I don't have to have a label maker but it would be fun to have one. It depends on the surface you use it on. Not easy to remove from paper. I use plastic file folders to keep various projects I am working on organized. I re-use the folders and just peel the labels off.

I have a Brother P-touch too. It was a gift so I didn't choose it. I rarely use it.
