My DD got a Student Prime membership with Amazon and I thought that would open up all kinds of Kindle books for free but it has been very frustrating so far. It took me forever to even figure out how to find the lending library. Apparently, you can only view the library list on your Kindle device. I got that far, but to go through page after page was tedious and I didn't have any specific title to look up after I discovered that The Giver wasn't on the list. I really would like a more user friendly browsing method:(
Do you have any recommendations for me? I also didn't realize that you can only borrow one book per month. That is pretty limited. The video streaming and 2 day shipping is a good deal for only $49 per year however. I know peas on here always have good reading suggestions, just hoping some of them will be on the free lending list. Thanks.

From the Prime Library I read the Harry Potter series. Others that I've borrowed : Am Livia, One Lavender Ribbon, Hunger Games, Elizabeth Street, War Brides, Water for Elephants, The Hangman's Daughter Series With over 600,000 titles in the KOLL, you really just have to type in a title and see if it's available. My local library is part of the Northern California Digital Library and I prefer to borrow from there.
