I am going to the Expo in Pleasanton on Friday. I haven't been to an expo in years so I'm not sure what to expect. I'm not looking for anything in particular. It is mostly an excuse to get together with 3 friends! But I'm sure I'll find something to buy Any peas going?

I really want to go. I am in the North Bay and missed Sacramento last fall so I am having huge withdrawals. I don't like driving long distances anymore and Sac had a bus from the North Bay, so I emailed Expo and they have one from Sac this time. So now I have been trying to figure out how to get dh to drive me down, drop me off and come back later. Have a great time!

Sonoma County. But now I hear there is a rainstorm coming. I'll have to see how it is in the morning.

I went, and dropped a lot of money shopping! Too much, but I'm not complaining! I also went to the Saturday crop, and did a few classes. I didn't enjoy either as much as I have at other expos - but it was great hanging out with friends, and having a day "off"! I thought the crop was a little lackluster compared to past years. Not too many prizes, excitement, and no tools to use. The classes I took were great, but they put all the classrooms (for my classes) in one small building, and divided them with thin dividers. It was so hard to hear anything. The rain was also nuts driving home to the peninsula, but we made it!

We had a fun day out! I spent a little money but didn't go crazy. It was fun to be there, feel the excitement from the other shoppers and get inspired to make stuff; I spend most of the day yesterday in my scraproom.
We were there on Friday for about 3 hours and it was busy. Did anyone go on Saturday?
There were a lot more cardmaking supplies than I remember from years ago - lots of stamps and inks. And so many dies! There were booths with page kits, very circa 2005 (and not many shoppers) Most of the LSS around here have closed, so it was great to see the physical products IRL.
We left when we got hungry and went to lunch in downtown Pleasanton. What a cute town!
It was a lovely day out; a good reminder to take a day off now and then!

I'm going to the Orlando one, but was looking to see what the classes are like. Thank you!

I took the Latest and Greatest Tools one this time. I've taken several of the Latest and Greatest ones, and they've been pretty good - plus you get a nice bag of stuff!
I also took one other that was a Krazy Kreations Outline stickers one. It was good, but even with a mic, she was very hard to hear. Hopefully that part is better in Orlando.
My friend took a watercolor one that looked cool, and also a Pinecone Press Disney one. The project was cute!

I took the Latest & Greatest embellishment last year, and was pleased, but they only have the Tools one and a Stamping one, so wasn't sure about those. I don't see the outline sticker one (but I know some classes are different) and I'll check out the Pinecone Disney one! Thank you so much for replying

I've taken the Pinecone Press classes in the past & while they are cute you don't learn anything. You can just buy the kit at their booth & take a different class.
I will be going to the Orlando Expo too.
