I was so hooked when I watched Jennifer McGuire's video with these...and I just had to order some all of them! Can't wait for them to arrive and to play with them, since I don't feel like there has been a lot for new product (and not just new design) that interested me in awhile.
Anyone else try them yet or have any other new products you can't wait to try or are loving?
Yep, this is a shameless "enable me" post!

I restrained myself and only ordered 3. I don't have them yet, but hopefully next week. Let me know how you like them.

I just saw a Tim Holtz demo from Creativation about these...I am not even a huge stamper and I want them anyway! I, like Tim HATE pigment inks, these seem the best of both! Which colours to get...Spiced Marmalade looks amazing, as does Crushed Pistachio and Wilted Violet.

If I could only pick one it would have been Crushed Pistachio. Then I just caved and got them all... You could definitely do some some nice pieces to add to layouts....my distress inks get used pretty equally on both layouts and cards.

So I bought some recently (like 2 years ago or less) and I HATE them! Did they change them, do you know?! Can't wait to see what you create with these Patter! Save

Patter, the distress ink doesn't stamp crisp images. Do the oxides stamp crisp and clean?

Not sure what I will do with them yet but can't wait to play!

I purchased the whole set too! Found a good deal on eBay. Ordered Friday and got them Wednesday. Unfortunately I'm leaving on vacation for a week and won't be able to play with them until after!

I ordered only 5 colours. I am one of those I need complete sets people. But some of the colours they way they altered I wasn't a fan. So I thought I would start with 5 and go from there. I have all 61 distress inks and reinkers though.
I love archival ink. It is my go to ink. I have probably 12 pads now. I have a couple more colours to get. But I do have a fair share of hero arts shadow inks and simon says inks. So I'm really holding off getting to many more. I have a ton of memory ink (they make the hero arts ink) my lss used to carry them and had a crazy sale to get rid of stock. I think it was 10 for $20 but you had to buy 10 to get deal. So I bought 20 of course.

I'm not a fan of the distress products or mixed media or anything, but Jennifer McGuire's video had me sold on these. I'm trying to be patient and give myself some time to consider how I'll use them, where I'll store them, etc, but they look like so much fun. I can't decide if I'm going to just get the most appealing colors (a rainbow of the clearer, less brown-toned colors) or if I should just get the lot. I think I should probably start with my favs and see how much I really use them. I love that they work like watercolors as well, and that they're so forgiving with the blending. I loved that blended rainbow behind a white die cut card that JM made a couple of version of. I guess I'm going to need to get a die cutting machine and some cool dies as well (I've been holding off, but I think it's time).

I am trying to hold off to see if Michaels gets them so I can use a coupon. But after watching that video, I may not want to wait too long.

Oh my, these look awesome. I'm not much of a stamper, but might have to acquire these. Watched the JM video and the TH Creativity demo video. I keep thinking how pretty some Distress Oxide rainbow PL cards would look in my album, and it looks fairly easy to do. TFS

I went to the Pleasanton, CA scrapbook convention today. I was asking for a TH mini ink in vintage photo, and she said what's been really flying off the shelves was the oxide ink. "People are crazy about them. We sold out yesterday."
Off to find the video...

Oh crap. Don't get me onto something else lol!! Off to find the video! You're going to cave. I saw the post, watched the video, and went to our LSS the next day and got their last "bundle" of all 12 (15% off if you buy the set). I haven't paid full price for a stamp pad since...2003? Although, lol...I guess 15% off isn't full price technically. But that's not a real discount. I would have bought them regardless. ETA: They are pretty awesome. I'm not a big distress person, and I still think they're amazing in person. The texture of the ink, the easier blending, the chalk finish, the way it shows up on dark/kraft papers, and the "glow" when you hit it with water are gorgeous.

My wallet hates Jen McGuire. I just have to have them. Waiting 48 hrs before clicking buy. I must resist and not watch those videos again... I haven't stamped in ages and these look like fun. I doubt i'll use them, but I sure want them.

When I first watched Tim demonstrate them, I didn't think these were for me... and then I saw Jennifer McGuire's video and I am the proud owner of six of them ... with three more on the way ... and knowing me I will own the full set soon enough. All I have done with the 6 that I have is make the ink swatches that Jennifer shows in her video and even with just doing that I am in love! They definitely are completely different than any ink I have ever seen. I'm hoping to be able to play with this later this afternoon!

Layout with oxide inksHere is a process video by Alicia JinHee showing how to use them as a background on a layout. I was totally sold after I saw this because the colors are so vivid! I don't stamp so I probably wouldn't have even considered buying them if I just saw them on a shelf. Now I think I need to buy several, if not all. These YouTube process videos are costing me a small fortune!
