....Off the shelves, and go running toward the check out line before you even look to see the company name?
Orange does it for me.
I can't get enough orange on my pattern paper. Stripes, dots, bold, muted, love it all!
I find it is so easy to put with kraft, white, or black cardstock (the three colors I have the most of).
I like how cheery it is. I like how fun it is. It reminds me both of summer (if it's bright and used with teals or pinks) and autumn, if it's darker and put with jewel-toned colors.
I love using gold sequins with it. Especially in the middle of a paper punched flower.
It just makes me happy every time I look at a layout with it.
What's your color?

Blue always has a tendency to leap off the shelves and into my basket. Blue for boys, the summer sky, the lake nearby and the ocean that I hope to return to someday soon.

Purple, but it has to be the right purple. Really tough to find so any time I see the shade I'm looking for I have to swoop it right up!

primary colours - it's so hard to find bright primary coloured paper and it works so well for photos of my Annabelle

I like duller colors so the paper doesn't fight with my photos.
And I like the prints to have softer edges. Hard edges make my blurry photos seem even blurrier.

In addition to orange, as noted in the OP:
-Purple. A gender-neutral shade can be paired with various other colors (e.g. white/black/kraft/brown/orange/aqua). It's the color of our son's basketball team last year, so I've recently become aware of how difficult purple is to find in scrap supplies!
-Male-inspired color palettes. For years pink has been included in most collections, even fall/Thanksgiving/winter/Christmas/etc. Although pink is my favorite color, it can only be used so much on layouts about our preteen son!

Blues/turquoise/teal and bright colors seem to always catch my eye and my wallet.

Blues and greens. Even better if it's a plaid!

Aquas/Teals draw me to paper. High contrast draws me to paper. And the goil foil trend isn't hurting

Pastel pinks with soft teals, and anything with hearts or cameras.

If only I could narrow it down! Looking at my stash, I seem to have equal amounts of each color. I wish there were more purple patterned papers to choose from though.
