I would think it was funny and prepare something in retaliation.

I'd think it was a riot! But then, that's the kind of friends we have. We once filled a friend's bathtub with lime Jello... and an inflatable female doll (a private joke) while he was away on a hunting trip. Then we rigged up microphones so we could hear his reaction while we waited in another friend's apartment next door. It was priceless!

I added another photo in the OP. Love that the entire floor is covered too!

Knowing our friends, I would think it was funny. My DH was in a wedding where the bride's brothers got in their house while they were on their honeymoon. They took all the labels off the canned food, put crushed cereal on the ceiling fan blades (so it all flew off when they turned it on), poured crushed cereal in the vents, toilet papered their bedroom, moved furniture around, and more. In that case I would have been mad...but her brothers came over to help them clean up! She took it in the spirit it was intended, and they all laugh about it now. we had this happen to us when we got home from our wedding. All the can labels were ripped off, crushed cereal in our bed, every single roll of toilet paper missing, all our eggs were hard boiled and put back in the carton, our bread was toasted and put back in the bag, pranks were everywhere!!! It was funny. Nothing was damaged and we still talk about it. The best part about it was that it wasn't my husband and I that came to home to it! It was my family that had flown in from out of town. My poor stepdad had attempted to go number 2 the next morning in a house with absolutely no toilet paper! Don't worry, when my husband's buddy got married we got revenge. Hahahaha. Good times!

I would be annoyed unless they offered to clean up. That would be ok.

I would think it was funny. Then I'd try to think of a way to re-use all those Post-its!

I would be annoyed. But that's a freaking expensive prank. Post-its aren't that cheap.

I think I would it funny but then get annoyed as I was cleaning up. Hopefully they would come by to help.
SIL got into our luggage at our wedding and put rice in everything. I was still finding rice years later.

I would think it was funny, but I'd probably get annoyed while cleaning it all up, especially if I had to clean it up by myself. ETA: I replied after reading the OP and no other responses - funny that I said the same thing as the poster right above me.

My poor stepdad had attempted to go number 2 the next morning in a house with absolutely no toilet paper! Don't worry, when my husband's buddy got married we got revenge. Hahahaha. Good times! The article I read said the couple was expecting something as they were part of a prank during another couple's honeymoon, when they filled the house with 3000 balloons. So it's part of their friendship. Having crushed cereal in my bed or on my ceiling fans or any kind of food situations would piss me off big time. BIG time. The last thing I want to do when I come home from vacation is clean up a huge food mess. And no TP? I guess I don't see the humor in someone making a poop and having no TP to wipe with. Honestly, think that's really disgusting. I really doubt I'd be speaking to someone who pulled that prank on me for a very long time.

I would laugh. When I was a child (my guess is around 9 or 10), my aunt remarried and she and her husband's friends came into their house and removed all the labels from the canned goods, rearranged their kitchen cabinets, rearranged the living room furniture all into the middle of the room, and moved their car so it was parked sideways in the garage. They thought it was hilarious and I remember thinking what cool people they were for having goofy friends and enjoying a good laugh. I'm glad I'm the kind of adult that can see the humor in these stupid situations.

I'd be mad. That looks like a big, wasteful mess. I asked my DH & he said the exact same thing.

I'd be annoyed, but not full blown mad. I wouldn't think it was funny either, but again, not mad. It would most likely be funny to me after I got over being annoyed. So, funny...but in like 3 minutes.

I'm not sure. I would probably laugh but be annoyed if I had to clean it up and as long it didn't damage anything.

For me, it would irritate the heck out of me. Not so much that they put the Post-It notes, but that someone was in my home while I wasn't there. Then every time I couldn't find something, I would wonder if someone moved it while they were doing the notes or where they might have stashed something in order to get a clear path to lay those things. I don't know, I guess I don't have a sense of humor about people doing stuff to my belongings. I'm the exact same way. I honestly would be pissed.

I would find it funny as long as it wasn't the really cheap, too sticky, non-name brand post its you get from the Dollar Store. I'd worry those might take paint off cabinetry and such. I'd also hope they'd hep clean up the prank.

That, I would find very funny.
Pulling the labels off all my cans? Not so much. Having to open everything to find out what it is then possibly having to throw it out if you don't use it straight away is going to cost money.

So, funny...but in like 3 minutes. This! I also think it's wasteful. I admit that I wouldn't be one who would stack them neatly as I took them down. That would be a project in and of itself, and I would not be up for it.

I would be very irritated and probably angry. I don't like pranks. Especially pranks that involve a lot of my time cleaning up after.
