I think it's funny! I would be busy planning revenge for it.

I was exhausted when I got back from my honeymoon. I have a sense of humor, but would not really find this to be funny, just very annoying when I was so exhausted.

I have a friend who was a Pea and her cousin was looking after her place while she was vacationing with her family. The cousin drew a couple hundred penises and posted them in the apartment. They were everywhere. In the fridge, in the cupboard, on cans of soup I mean everywhere that you could imagine. He changed photo frames to be hand drawn pictures of a penis. She of course had to clean all this up. I wish I could have seen her face when she came home. I nearly died laughing when I saw it. No names used to protect the privacy.

I feel like a voice crying out in the wilderness hers, but I do not find it funny at all. I find it puerile, wasteful and nasty. I would be well pissed off if anyone did this to me.

I'd be pissed off but I loathe pranks - they don't appeal to my sense of humour at all.

I'd be pissed off but I loathe pranks - they don't appeal to my sense of humour at all. Now, if the pranksters were there within five minutes after my arrival to undo it, then I would just get over it. But the reality is that I'm usually tired after a trip. If I came home to that, I would not be happy. The waste bothers me, too. The notes could still be used but I think it's more likely they would go straight in the trash.

I guess it would depend on how tired I was when I got home. I am no fan of pranks and I especially don't like waste. For how much time was spent on the prank they could have done something nice for the couple.

I would think it was probably funnier to be part of the gang doing it than to be the recipient seeing it when they got home. Funny, ish, but not hilarious.

Seriously labor intensive....both the doing and the undoing.

I'm another who doesn't like pranks, so I wouldn't find this funny. And pulling pranks on people is only amusing if you're there to see the reaction, so what did their friends do? Wait in the house? I hate travelling so I would be tired and grouchy after a long trip.
I'm glad they all know each other well enough to do stuff like this without upsetting anyone.

My first reaction probably wouldn't be to be mad or think it's funny! As an immediate reaction I would probably be a bit hacked off about it because after travelling home I would have to move the post-it notes to be able to make a cup of coffee, watch TV etc., etc.,.....and know for sure there was a big unexpected clean up session to come!! I may, or may not, think it's slightly funny later on!

I've known people who have come home to a house wrapped in cling film, or to a house where all their furniture has been removed by their friends, so I think it's funny!

The people who did it must have a lot of time on their hands! I would make them come and clean it up. It seems wasteful, if I had to clean it up, I would not be taking the time to stack the post its (as I would be annoyed and don't have the time on my hands that they have - haha!). But I would tell the people who did it to neatly stack the posts its as they clean it up.

Yes - every new bride wants to come home to a huge mess. How sweet and thoughtful of the friends.

I would be a little annoyed, but overall I would laugh about it. DH would be mad though, I'm quite sure of that.

I would be annoyed unless they offered to clean up. That would be ok. Attachments:

My first thought is that they obviously don't have cats. My second thought is if I ever get married again, my house will need to be spotless before any kind of honeymoon. And all the secret bits of my life hidden away under lock and key.

I wouldn't be mad, since no lasting harm was done, but I wouldn't be happy, either.
I am not a fan of practical jokes/pranks/etc.
Oh, and "wasteful" definitely came to mind for me as well.

How exactly does someone come up with that ^^^ idea for a prank? Guess I have no sense of humor because I wouldn't think that was funny at all!

A lot of work, for both. I find it funny because it's someone else, but don't know that I would find it funny if it was me.

Both DH and I would find it really funny. We are also the same people that have wrapped our co-workers desks in wrapping paper while they are on vacation and have done other sorts of harmless pranks for those that we know can handle it. We expect retaliation and are always one of the first ones back to help clean it up.
If I were part of the group that did this, I would be waiting for the couple to return and show up a few minutes later with some snacks and beverages and help clean it up.

I'm another one who wouldn't find this funny at all. I do have a sense of humor and enjoy a good joke, but this seems like such a HUGE waste and that would bother me a lot. Plus, coming home from a trip - I would probably be tired and would not enjoy cleaning up first thing.

Our wedding party Saran wrapped our entire front of the house when we were on our honeymoon. My brother in law and my maid of honour were the ring leaders. We had a huge front porch and they wrapped that sucker from top to bottom so many times, we had to get scissors from the neighbours to cut through the wrap to get into the house. The neighbours got involved by TPing our big tree in front and hanging condoms on the branches. LOL. When we got inside, they left a bottle of champagne, some strawberries and chocolate, and a huge sign that said "Welcome home...hope you had a wonderful time!" It was funny and we did take photos.
