thanks to earlier posts, I figured out hiw to download chrome, and then download some videos from 2Peas. The videos seem to download ok, as mp4 files
However, I can't figure out how to watch these! When I try to open with Windiws media player, I get an error message that" it cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file"
help! I don't know where to begin to address that issue!
thanks for any info about where to begin. It would be great to be able to keep some of these videos after July 12.

Hmmm.... I used Chrome too and my videos are still sitting in my download file. I can play them directly from that file with media player. Strange!

I have used VLC player to watch them...windows media player didn't work for me either!

Well, this is too weird. I did download a VLC media player. When I try to open the files I have downloaded with Chrome, I either get the audio, or I get the video. Not together... Most of the files I have downloaded I can play the video with no sound. One of the files I downloaded I get sound but no video.
I think I will continue to download files, in hopes that I will be able to figure out playback later! it does seem quite odd.

Ok! What finally seemed to work for me:
downloaded using Firefox , had to download videos from you tube. For some reason couldn't download from the 2peas site. Then I am able to see and hear video using the VLC player for playback.
I hope that helps someone else, as it seems quite a few are having the same kinds of issues that I had.
i was not able to download Shimelles hitchhiker series as I don't think it was ever in YouTube. I couldn't remember where to find the classes I had paid for on 2peas so couldn't find it there. And likely wouldn't have been able to download it from there anyway.

Classes and Events tab at top
Workshops - this lists all the paid for workshops, clicking on the ones you paid for will give you access to the class where you can find the pdfs and videos (now you have figured that out which I still have to do)

Thanks for that info on finding classes. I kind of thought they should be there, but oddly when I click on the name of the workshop, I go to the store page showing some exclusive 2 peas products! I have done this several times , all with the same result.
My computer seems to have a mind of it's own! I still have not been able to get the Firefox download helper to download anything from the 2 peas site, only from YouTube.
fortunately, I do have the hitchhiker .pdf files from when I took the class in 2012, so that will have to do! Of course, I have never been inclined to go back and review the videos before now, so I probably won't miss them in the future
and now I have quite a stash of Glitter girl, Jen McGuire and Nichol Magourik videos that should keep me watching for a LONG time. All thanks to posters here, I would not have thought about trying to download videos otherwise. So thanks!

Well I did purchase the Hitchhiker set, but I can't remember if i bought it directly from Shimelle.com. I did look there, but couldn't see where to access purchased stuff, including the only other one I remember buying directly there.
I do know I bought the hitchhiker because I had just finished watching Shimelle's 4x6 photo love, which is still my most favourite and useful set of classes. That started my admiration and awe of all things Shimelle.
Oh well no worries, have lots ofother videos to entertain and educate! ( including a newly downloaded set of 4x6 photo love)

HJS have you checked your orders history at Two Peas? If you ordered from there then you will have an order processed. I would take a screen shot of that and email Shimelle from her site. If you can't find an order process for the class in there then it's likely you will have bought from Shimelle direct, again you can contact her from her site. Good luck.
I'm halfway through downloading my class videos. Thankful for all the different instructions.

that is a good suggestion , Fruitysuet. I have looked under orders, and it says there are none. Don't really know why. However, I have downloaded about 400 videos from 2peas in the last couple of days, so I do have lots of inspiration for the future. I didn't watch that many videos at 2peas, so this amount will last more than my lifetime I am sure!
