We are looking for a set of white dishes and really love the style of the Pottery Barn Emma collection. They're expensive, but there's a sale right now. I don't see any reviews on their website, which surprised me. I guess all my Amazon shopping has caused me to expect to read lots of reviews before I make a purchase, especially a big one like this.
So, do you have this set? For how long? How are they holding up? Do they chip or scratch easily?
Thanks!

I love them. The dishes don't fit well in the dishwasher so I wash them by hand. They are thick and the rims come up sort of high. The slots in my dishwasher are too narrow. YMMV.
The cereal bowls do chip pretty easily.

Oh--I've had them at least 12 years and I used to use them every day but now we alternate them with bistro ware from Wms Sonoma.

These we're the dishes we registered for 10 years ago when we got married. Loved the look of them and still do. I haven't chipped any of the place settings, but am pretty careful with my dishes. The egg cup I use to hold my ring by the sink is chipped, but DH knocked it over and it fell...so as expected. I have one dish that has crazed, but the at is all. My only gripe is that they don't fit well in my DW, the deep bowls especially.

Thanks so much for your reviews. I'm going to measure the slots in my dishwasher and take my little ruler to the store!
I feel guilty for buying another set cause we already have fine china we rarely use, Christmas dishes, some old stoneware that's great in the microwave, and some bright colorful dishes we usually use. Now I want plain dishes I can use with different colors of tablecloths or placemats in different seasons.
By the way if anyone is thinking of making a big purchase at Pottery Barn, there's a sale now that's 20% off a purchase of 500$ or more, 15% off 250$ and 10% off 100$.
