for $25! I went to a new Clothes Mentor resale shop and there was such great stuff. These are brand new Hudson jeans that still had that tag that is stitched onto the waistband. And they were my exact size. I just loved them because they were cute and fit. Jeans are usually around $10-$15 so I went home and googled them to see how much they retail for since they were $25 for resale. These jeans are worth every bit of the $200 someone else spent on them! I am forever looking for jeans that will transform my lack of behind into something more! These magical jeans actually make my behind cute and round! I don't know how they did it, because that is definitely not my butt I see in the mirror. I love magic clothes!

Lucky duck! That's awesome.
I think we're getting a Clothes Mentor (or something similar) soon.

I found a pair of jeans at a thrift store last year. The denim felt different and they were made in the USA. I paid the $8 and went home, where I looked up the brand-name online out of curiosity (the made in America was especially intriguing). New they would have been over $120! Such a great feeling.

Oh I LOVE Lucky Brand jeans and am wearing some right now. Sadly, I'm not lucky enough to find them for $2 but I do try and get them on sale LOL...They are definitely a 'splurge' for me and I only have two pairs of jeans and a pair of shorts (which I snagged at Marshalls, but are still carried at Belk!).

We have a strip of stores with a Once Upon a Child (children's resale), a Plato's Closet (teen resale), and a Clothes Mentor all in a row. My daughter, who is an extreme conservationist, is excited that she'll never have to shop retail as long as those three stores are there!

I've gotten some awesome stuff from Clothes Mentor, especially accessories. Never tried the jeans though.
I will say this for the one that I frequented, great selection of things I'd never have found on my own at reasonable prices. But trying to sell things to them for resale was like pulling teeth. They wouldn't take my Dooney and Bourke bags, said they were out of fashion, even though you could find them in the current catalog for $300+. Once I pointed out my surprise at that, they flat out denied carrying them at all, despite the ones I could clearly see hanging on the rack there. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

I had never heard of Clothes Mentor. Looks like there are 4 very close to me........the furthest one is about 30 minutes. I will have to check them out to see if I can find any deals.

But trying to sell things to them for resale was like pulling teeth. I've not sold to them, but I have sold to Once Upon a Child. I really think it varies with the person who is doing the buying that day. I've had different experiences each time at the same store. Sometimes, when they give me back the clothes they aren't accepting on that trip, I leave them in my trunk and head back a few days later. The next buyer usually buys a few things that weren't bought previously. And sometimes I've been given $20 for a box of clothes and other times have been given $40 for a similar amount of same styled clothing. Kind of a crap shoot.

I am a true believer in you get what you pay for and jeans are no different. I once spent $103 for a pair of Silvers and they were the best jeans ever. So soft and comfy. I just grew out of the damn things!

Congrats on your find! And your cute, round behind! I never heard of them before & I'm glad to see there's one about 40 minutes from me. Maybe this flat butt can find something magical there, too.

I too need magical jeans along with some magical bras and some magical makeup! My chins are where my boobs should be, my boobs are around my waist and my butt is making the back of my knees look fat. I'm not sure even Harry Potter could work his magic on this body!

I bought a new pair of AE jeans this weekend that have pockets with flaps (which I HATE!) but they add a little booty and I like them! Now...if we only had a little fall weather....
