To all those who love their Expedit/Kallax in their craft space (or living space), IKEA is launching a new series of accessories to help organise your stuff in them. A hanging basket with leather accents, gold wire baskets and special shelf systems (including a cube that slides in between two cubes to create half-shelves with a floating effect). Lovely stuff that will make the Kallax system look extra fancy and be more practical. As always, check your national IKEA website to see whether these products are already available in your local store before driving down there to see them IRL. And nope, I don't work for IKEA. Or being paid to promote this. Alas.

I have the grey one. The others are kind of ugly and the shelf insert doesn't go all the way back...it is more for decorative use rather than how crafters would use a shelf. Hopefully this is just the start.

I like the idea of these but they are not practical for me. I use storage containers like tall glass jars and clear plastic trays to hold my supplies. I don't think these would work. I find the gold tray pretty, but it puts a lot of weight on the shelf above. I'd be worried about their weight limit if I tried to use for paper.

I think these are crazy cute, as kallax units are begging to be styled! Maybe not practical for a craft room, but if I were using a kallax as a sofa table or something (which I just might!) these may put me over the edge. So cute!

They look great! I've been coveting a Kallax for a while so maybe this is the motivation I need.

Nice! I've been MacGyvering stuff like that using kitchen organizers, but it would be nice to have something sturdy that was actually made for the units.
