I mostly use digital kits/printables for my PL albums. I love being able to recolor, add text, etc. I saw a tip on a blog last week, so I gave it a try this weekend. They had switched to printing on Canon 4x6 matte photo paper for PL printables, instead of printing on 8.5x11 then trimming. WOW! It was so nice to be able to print, then be able to slide it right into the pocket. Total gamechanger! I was surprised when I compared prices (Canon 4x6 vs HP premium presentation paper) to find that they were almost exactly the same ($0.066 vs $0.062). The Canon 4x6 matte paper doesn't have a sheen like typical photo paper, it feels/looks more like a thick cardstock. ETA: I found the original blog post! I'm going to go right out and look for some matte photo paper. I have quite a few printables and digi files as we'll and it's been such a hassle doing them on presentation paper.

anniefb - It was both an "ah hah" and "duh" moment for me. My DH didn't get my excitement at all, but it makes the process so much easier. Especially since my trimmer has been a little cranky lately.

I found the photo paper ScrappyJac and did some printing of a few journaling cards. Love the results and it was so easy!
