My ATG (glue gun) is so noisy. It has always been noisy since the day I bought it many years ago, but it is really starting to annoy me. Is there any way to make the squeak go away? Please make it stop. Please. Update: Google! What a great idea! So someone online suggested applying olive oil with a Q-Tip to the base of the four posts, which didn't help. Someone else suggested taking off the back tape holder rollers and adding a thin coating of Vaseline to the metal posts. That didn't help either, but it helped me isolate the problem to the front rollers. I took those apart and added Vaseline to the posts that hold the rubber rollers, then put it all together again. Hallelujah! My ATG is silent for the first time ever! So now you know ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) My tablemate at the scrapbook retreat is very happy with me. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

Oh my goodness. I have no idea! Mine isn't noisy. Have you Googled to see if there's a solution?

I have never had a problem with mine squeaking so I'm not sure what to suggest. Can you move each part individually and see what is causing the squeak?

Maybe some powder in the squeaky spots?

Mine used to squeak occasionally but doesn't anymore. I remember seeing a youtube video about how to get an atg to stop squeaking. Maybe you could find something there.

I have a squeaker too, but it's not too bad yet. Thanks for the suggestion!
