As I posted in that naked spa post a few days ago, I've got some extra padding between my bones and skin right now. I'm learning all kinds of things about chaffing that I never knew before. With it being so hot outside, I'm sweating like never before too. Just lovely.
I figured there must be some sort of product to help with chaffing. I looked on Amazon and there was! I think I ordered the Lady Anti Monkey Butt Powder with Calamine and Corn Starch just for the name, really. It cracked me up. But I didn't expect wonders from it. I thought it would be just like using a scented powder.
Wrong! That stuff is awesome! It seems to disappear as soon as you put it on. I went for under the boobs too because I am sweating and chaffing when I'm out in the yards working. Gross, I know, but if you have sizable boobies, you know what I mean.
I did have a fear that I would end up with a pasty mess with all that powder and perspiration together, but the stuff must prevent perspiration some how. I didn't sweat anywhere I put that powder on. And I had a really active day yesterday. I actually came back in the house and dusted a bit on my forehead because I was trimming some bushes and sweat was dripping down my forehead into my eyes. It actually stopped the perspiration from forming. No more dripping into my eyes!
It doesn't wear off quickly either. I noticed that dry feeling was still there when I was showering this morning. I may be the last person to know about this stuff, but just in case I'm not, I wanted to share it with you guys. I'm absolutely impressed. And I wish I had known about this when my son was growing up. That kid had some sweaty feet that had all kinds of organisms growing in it. I made him wash his feet the second he came home and he took his shoes off - outside. His shoes were not allowed in the house. It was that bad.
So that's my testimony for Anti Monkey Butt powder. Visit your dealer today.

I had never heard of Anti-Monkey Butt powder before it was mentioned by the Peas and your post today prompted me to have a look on Amazon UK to see if we have it - and we do!! Worth remembering after reading your testimony! I learn something useful here most every day!

Worth remembering after reading your testimony! I learn something useful here most every day! Great! I must have missed the talk about it on here. But at least one new person now knows about it, so it was worth the post. I'm glad you can get it in the UK too. I have no idea where it is made, and I think I should look at the ingredients a bit closer. Especially before putting it on my forehead. But I was hot and sweaty and I don't make the best decisions at that time. If you buy it and like it, let me know.

My bff is a product blogger and got some a while back. She gave me two of them and it lasts a long time. I love it and the kids love it to put on their legs when we leave the beach to get all the sand off. Definitely a good product. PS: the label comes off easily so it just is a pink container

Well, as one of those very weird coincidences after you mentioning using it on your forehead.....a friend who is in the US has just told me about an event she has been invited to. She mentions high humidity and being pleased she has got her Anti-Monkey Butt powder.....apparently she puts a little shake on a clean paper towel, swirls her brush in it and then swirls it lightly all over her face after make-up is finished at times like that and gets no shine for hours! So she has used it on her face also.

I use it when I run outside in the summer. But I never thought of putting it on my face!

Ok, you might have convinced me to try it. I do a lot of walking and I sweat so bad while I'm out there! It would be nice not to feel like a swamp creature

I always laugh at a mental image of Ross from Friends trying to get on leather pants with this to ride his motorcycle. I ride a hot, air cooled Harley, but never need anything like this.

I just went and searched "anti monkey butt" in Amazon, and the related search that came up was -- no lie -- "fresh balls".

Just an FYI - Lady Anti Monkey Butt is made with corn starch.
Regular Anti Monkey Butt is made with talc.
So if you are going to put it anywhere near any lady bits, you want to make sure you get the Lady version because of the risk of cancer with talc (or so they say)
And I agree - it's great stuff. I bought a really pretty container for it and a powder puff and put it on that way - so much easier than from the sprinkler bottle.

I bough the Lady Anti Monkey Butt just because it cracked me up. I hadn't seen the regular Butt version. Excellent tip about the powder puff and better container. I purchased two containers, so I'll have to hunt around in my room for something pretty to put it in. I think I have a really unusual glass globe-shaped antique that isn't holding anything right now. I just need to make a puff.

I will definitely have to check this out! Scrapbooker, look how close your Pooka resembles my Winston in my avatar. Don't they look like siblings? The caramel ears and the white fluff look identical. What breed was Pooka?

I sure could use some today! I'm pretty sure I've seen it at TSC (Tractor Supply). I have to head there at some point this week, so I'll update if I find it there.

I probably shouldn't do yardwork in 85 degree heat, but vine was about to swallow the chairs in front of it. I have a spare fluffy brush and an empty face powder container. I think I'll put some in it. I didn't think about not having a shiny face. I didn't want a waterfall. But I can see how on some hot days,it would save my makeup from sliding off. Thanks for letting me know.

Well this really sounds like something that would be very useful out here on humidity island. I've been wondering if there was anything people could get to help with the sweat factor. Adding it to the next amazon shipment.
