Does it have a strong scent? I have a co-worker who swears by some powder she uses but it smells like strong, cheap perfume.

No. It has a very light scent but you can't smell it all once you put it on. I imagine that the regular version does not have a scent.
I think there might even be a Baby Anti-Monkey Butt powder.
It's just a really, slick powder that has amazing staying power. Since I moved to Texas, powder after a shower is a necessity, especially in the summer, and this works better than anything else I've tried (including products like Glide). I did find it kind of messy to use though and that's why I put it in a container with a powder puff. So much neater.

I will definitely have to check this out! Scrapbooker, look how close your Pooka resembles my Winston in my avatar. Don't they look like siblings? The caramel ears and the white fluff look identical. What breed was Pooka? #Lexica as far as we know he was a Lhasa Apso. He was larger than most. We weighed about 27 pounds. I think 7 pounds of it was fur, lol.

Lexica, I'm hoping for a drugstore close to the hotel. Only I would fly to Florida on purpose during the month of August

Thanks for the info. I've just passed this link on to my DS who is in the US right now. He's always looking for something like this. It looks like I can get it from NZ, so I might try that for me, especially if I can use it on my forehead and back of neck. I hate that I have a sweaty head.

burningfeather, I transferred mine to my vintage container and used a puff that I had to apply it. Thanks for that tip. I also suggest standing in the shower to put it on. It doesn't create a huge amount of dropping powder bits, but I don't want any on my bathroom floors or sink top. Standing in the shower with the glass door closed ensures it all falls to the shower floor and will get washed down right away. I used it all over my face yesterday. I had a couple of meetings and I wanted to be dry and confident in them. I can't believe I didn't see this talked about on here. I am just glad I stumbled on it now. And I really owe that to the weird name. I do have some Glide, and like BF, I don't find it to work nearly as well. The biggest plus of this stuff is that it stops the wetness, it doesn't just provide a slick barrier to prevent chaffing. I wouldn't mind stock in this company! Once the peas learn about something good and pass it on, I am sure their sales go way up.

He's my constant companion. I ordered a new seat for my car for him, and we will both be happy when it comes. He is heartbroken when I leave the house without him.

Why oh why did I miss the first post about this?? I'm leaving for Florida tomorrow and so could have used it! Sigh. Off to put it in my Amazon cart anyway. If you have an ACE hardware nearby check there -- mine had it in a center aisle!

I miss him so much more than I ever thought I would and I knew that it would be a lot I know I will be the same way when it is time for mine. People tease me that he has become an extension of my body. He is usually touching me at any given point in the day, sleeping with his back snuggled in to me, laying on my lap, or being carried. He will sit on my purse in stores that allow him there and will acknowledge others, but he's not leaving my side for a second. I've become one of "those" small dog people, and I'm happy about it! Have you given a home to another dog? I know it sounds like replacing one, but from my experience, it doesn't replace them, it gives the opportunity for a great life to another creature. It sounds like any dog would hit the jackpot by being chosen to live with you.

It has been a long time since we had a puppy around, so it has been a real adjustment period for all of us, lol. We fell in love with him the first day we brought him home. I need to post a picture and add him to my signature to show him off

I've been using Anti-Monkey Butt for a while now. I do triathlons and my hiney always got chaffed during a race even tho I was using some anti-chaffe balm. It seemed to be the afterwards that causes my issues. This stuff is da bomb!!!! I can buy it locally at this odd little hardware store of all places. I've also seen it somewhere else but never can remember where. CVS maybe?
Anyway....great great stuff!!!

I just looked on line at Walmart.com to see if they carry at all. My sister lives near a Walmart and wants some. They have the Lady Anti Monkey Butt powder, but they also show a "gift pack" with three products in it. I zoomed in on it because there wasn't much description and it contains Anti Monkey Butt shampoo, powder, and body wash. I would be really curious what those other two products were like. I wonder if it really makes your head not sweat. And if the body wash did that, you wouldn't need the power. Interesting.
Anyone tried either Monkey Butt product?
ETA: I just went to their website and saw lots of recommendations for the powder, but no post about the body wash and shampoo. What I did find interesting is that people are using this on mosquito bites, or any bug bite, face rash of unknown origin, sun burn, and yes, to save their makeup and not sweat it off.

Lexica, can you look at the ingredients and let us know if it has zinc? I'm allergic or sensitive or something ... it always makes things worse when I use products with zinc for skin problems. But I'd love to try this stuff otherwise. Thank you!

As I sit here a little moist from weed whacking, I see this thread. I looked it up on Amazon, as I can think of a few people who could use it, like a grandson, whose name I won't mention, who has feet that will make your eyes water. I see there's a yellow container and a pink one. Which should I order?

you sucked me in. I bought some from amazon today and it will be here Friday. The two pack. Sending both with DH and DS to FL on Saturday so DH can give one to his sister. DS was grossed out when I bought him a tube of Monistat chafing gel for his chafing, wait til he finds the pink lady monkey butt powder in his suitcase!

I checked Walgreens down here and no luck. BUT, I found the Anti-Monkey Butt baby formula so I grabbed that. We'll see if it works.

I need this stuff so badly! You have probably saved my sanity! Sometimes I sweat just from the heat of my lamps in my room! Then I itch! Ugh! I will get DD some too and maybe even some for my mom. Thanks for the tip.
ETA: I ordered two of the Ladies version and two regular. DH chafs badly when geocaching or going to the beach. He will be forever in your debt.

Here is the listed ingredients, in order listed: Cornstarch Calamine Powder Tricalcium Phosphate (an anticaking agent) Patented Microparticle Polymer Fragrance And that's it.

Thanks for the recommendation! I've been using a Gold Bond anti-chafing stick, which is better than nothing, but doesn't last very long. Especially when it's really hot. I can't stand to feel my thighs rubbing together in a skirt when it's hot!

Success! The baby formula worked great! All 3 of us used it: myself, my SO and his 15 year old son. Nobody had chafing anywhere. And no fragrance which was a plus.
I highly recommend it!
