I'm looking for a car service that will take 6 of us from Portland/Dorset to Highclere Castle on September 2, 2014 (Brilliance of the Seas) Any recommendations for a car service.
I had planned to use Here 2 There car service, but they just informed me this morning that they don't take credit cards!! UGH Any help would be appreciated!
Also, how can I check to see if Here 2 There is reputable, they said I could do a bank transfer (last resort). Thanks!

Can't find any adverse comments about them. No obvious Companies House Info available either. Sorry, that doesn't help much.

Reporting in exactly the same as Annie! Not a lot available apart from their website. I wonder if it is a fairly new company and that's why they don't take credit cards?! Have no info' on other car services there either - sorry! I know Portland, Dorset very well and have spent a lot of time there....and driving to and from! It's an island joined to the mainland by a causeway and used to be one of our main Naval Bases. The journey to Highclere Castle from Portland would be at least two hours on some very narrow roads, so different to anything in the US. Enjoy your journey and visit to Highclere Castle.

Thanks ladies! Very much looking forward to visiting!! I appreciate your comments, the gentlemen I spoke with said it was too expensive to take credit cards, he said I could do a bank transfer, but I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Bank transfers are an extremely common method of paying for things in many counties - UK, NZ, Australia, most of Europe etc. I use bank transfers to pay for things like your trip, as well as paying my Lawnmower man, the electrician etc.
