Recently I've been making cards 5 x 3 1/2". I just love this size and even smaller. Today on my blog I show how I modified a gift box to hold a stack of cards that measure 2 3/4 x 3 3/4. I can't wait to give this card set to a friend.

I love making 6x6 size. I discovered it because I make my card base from 12x12 paper. So it gives me two cards instead of 5x7 or other sizes. Then, I found at Staples square envelops great for my size cards and I just love it.

I usually make A-7 (5x7) but just recently started making some A-2's.

I usually make A2 but I love the 5x7 size. It reminds me of birthday cards from when. I was a kid. I have a hard time making that size look good though.

I almost always make A2 size cards - 2 cards from one piece of 8.5 x 11, with no waste...

I'm kind of split between A2 and A7. I like the smaller ones for the quickie birthday cards for kids, thank you notes and that kind of thing, but like to do my (digi) Christmas cards in the bigger size. For 6x6 cards, it's less postage to mail them in a rectangular envelope. If I was going to make that size, that's what I'd do. I hate paying that surcharge for the nonstandard envelopes!

Either A2 or 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 because I like the slightly narrower shape.

I like the 5x7 size but I make lots that are odd sizes because I have envelopes of various sizes. I also love fancy fold cards so sizes can vary there too.

In general yes. There are a few that are more complicated - interactive and such. I don't do interactive. You can find lots of examples on Pinterest and most have directions on their site.

I think another reason I like smaller cards is because it's easier for me to come up with a design. Coming up with design in large spaces is one reason why I've stopped scrapbooking and turned to card making.

Same for me a lot of the time, although I'm really enjoying Project Life type scrapping at the moment. The cards and pockets seem manageable because they're a small canvas to work with.

I bought the huge PL kit back in 2011 & I never did anything with it...embarrassed to say. Now that I see a lot more of the 6x8 size albums I'm really considering giving it a shot.

I'm doing a 12 x 12 album documenting my niece's first year, but have just bought a 6 x 8 for myself. The 12 x 12 is too big for me (and so large to store!) but the 6 x 8 is such a cute size. What I like about PL is that if you don't have much time or are not feeling creative, you can pop in some photos and a few journaling cards and you're done. Or you can make your own cards & embellishments and enjoy the creative process. I think once you give it a go, you'll be hooked

A2 (5.5 x 4.25 inches) - 95% of the time I like 5 x 7 I seem to have trouble filling the space well.

I make A2 the most. But I love the square cards and they are second runner up. But I always have to get the envelope and measure first because I have to take 1/4" off and I had some envies that were 5.75" and some that were 6". If I would just keep both on hand or keep a sticky note where I could see what size I currently have, this would be my most made. Yeah, I'm lazy enough to not measure 1/2 of the time.

I like the bigger 5 x 7 size the best, just more area to play with. Although, I also make the A2 size, mostly for note cards and thank yous. Most of the time I use packaged blank card bases.

It's a toss up between A2 and 5 x 7" size. But when I make one for my husband, he likes it smaller like an A1 so that he doesn't have to write much! LOL!!

For the those of y'all who create 5x7 cards, can you post pictures? I'm really curious to see how you design a card this size. Here are a couple of cards I created - really easy! I used Spellbinders® 5 x 7 Card Creator series of die templates for a perfect measurement for these kinds of cards. Click on image for a closer look....hope that helps! Attachment Deleted
