For those of you that use the P Touch labeler - how do you get narrow margins when printing labels. I'm wasting a lot of tape on my current settings, but haven't figured out how to change it.

You mean the spacing between the word(s) of one label and the next label? If so, I print mine all at one time making extra space for shorter words, and then I manually cut them, instead of using the machine cutter. If that is not what you meant, I don't know.

I have another label maker and a p-touch. They both waste a lot of tape. Makes me nuts too cuz that stuff isn't cheap!

Hunh, my Casio label maker does this too. I didn't know there were settings. Wonder if mine has that.

The built in cutter wastes a lot of tape. I just put one or two spaces between the words or labels, print them all together and cut them apart with a scissors.

Good idea - didn't think about printing more than one label at a time.

I remember Jennifer McGuire posting something on her blog about what she does to get around this issue with her label maker. If you go to her blog or youtube channel and look for her video called "My Favorite Crafty Things: Organization"... go to approximately 9:15 into the video and you'll see her tip for how she gets around this issue.

ITA lynne. I saw the Jennifer McGiure video before and had an "AHA, that's how you do it!" moment, lol.
Also, there is a way to manually set the margins you want, but I can't remember off the top of my head how to do it. I wonder if Brother has the directions online somewhere.
