I have foot issues. I need to find comfy socks that are thicker than the ones they sell at stores like Fleet Feet. I find most of those socks on the restricting side. Anyone have some favorite names they can share?

My feet are on the larger side (9 ww) Most women's socks are made for a 4-8 narrow/medium shoe size. Sometimes I can find a 8-12 sock for women but mostly I just go with men's socks. I find men's socks over all are made of a heavier cotton or wool
There are also socks for diabetics that have super soft non restricting tops on them

And usually cheaper.

I like the Gold Toe brand, I wear their crew socks to work every day with athletic shoes. They wear well and don't shrink.

There not thick, but I like the Champion brand from Target or the New Balance from the NB outlet. They wick the moisture away. I tried bamboo socks, but they didn't do anything special for me except lighten my wallet.

I'm a big fan of Smart Wool socks (they last for years!). I usually buy them at REI when they're having a sale. I also like Bridgedale socks, but they discontinued my favorite style several years ago so haven't bought any recently.

I have foot issues and need a lot of support. Between compression fractures and running, my poor feet need all the help they can get! I have rather small feet and cannot stand too much cushioning. Here are my most favorite socks of all time. First, my favorite of the two, here, and then these, which I really love too but the first link are just a touch better.

I buy THESE Nike socks for working out. They have a band of compression around the middle that I don't find constricting. I actually find the compression to be the perfect amount of pressure for extra support. They are very cushion-y feeling.

The Thorlos look nice. I might have to take advantage of the free pair offer! I've worn these for years now. They're a little thicker than most and very soft on the inside. Good luck. I think it's probably easier to find a soul mate than it is to find good socks! OK, I give up. I can't get the link to do anything other than bring us back here. But they're the C9 by Champion® Women's Heel Tab Socks 4-Pack from Target. And the link in my quote response below works.

Your link is to this thread. I was just at the outlet mall and looked at every store that sells sock ~ about 10 or so. I ended up buying the gold toe which are soft and thick. And I can wear and wash them and if they don't work, I can get a full refund. Can't beat that. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

I took advantage of that free pair of Thorlo socks last night when I was reading this thread. I already got an email today, notifying me that they've been shipped. How great is that?! I did have to pay for shipping, $4.95, but that's not bad for a free pair of socks that seems to be highly recommended.

I just wanted to say that I got my free pair of Thorlo socks yesterday. I ordered and received these and I LOVE them. I think I'll be ordering more of these. Has anyone else already received there's? What do you think of yours?

What do you think of yours? I got mine in the mail this afternoon! A different pair than you got but very cushiony ~ I'll try them on in the morning and see how they fit.
