I don't.
I love a good grungy greeting card with lots of ink and mixed media. But my scrapbooking is cleaner with lots of layers and stickers, and not a lot of mixed media.
I just noticed that while I was going through the folder on my computer of all the work I have uploaded through the years. I hadn't really thought about it, and was a bit surprised at the difference.
What about you? Do you use the same style for both? |

Yes. Clean, simple and uncluttered for both cards and scrapping. I like the look of other styles, but I just can't make myself try it.

Some of my card making is like my scrapbooking but then then I do have my card making all over the place! I use ALL styles on my cards.

It's been years & years since I scrapbooked so I have to say I would think so. Most of my cards I create are the clean & simple design.

In general, I like my cards more busy than my layouts... I think that since they're a smaller size they look better being packed with stuff - especially dimensional stuff... That said, I love Kristina Werner's cards because so many are beautiful in their simplicity... I can't seem to pull that off though...lol

Sadly, yes. Both are fairly simple and clean. I have purchased mixed media type supplies, so I can mix it up on the cards. But I haven't used any of those supplies. Not yet.

I make cards to match the personality of the person getting it. I made one for a friend who is into sewing...so I used paper with dress forms and threads with needles.

My scrapbooking this year has also been more clean for a more productive year. -- Getting those stories told -- currently digitally. I tend to make clean cards unless I know I'm hand delivering. I'm not going to pay extra postage for a bulky card.
