Hi I don't see the other thread so I will start one. Did anyone have a great day? I went grocery shopping for Japanese food. DS was happy about it. I thought it was good and without soy sauce somehow. At least I don't feel gross after eating it. Yay! I had a productive morning and the whole day was just kind of good.
What about anyone else? Have something to share? How are you doing?

Delta Dawn It's just before 7am here and I'm just making breakfast and a cuppa. I'm meeting with some friends later today for a catch-up and lunch. I did some paperwork and chores yesterday and some more crochet. I'm hoping for a wool delivery today.

I feel a bit off today- off my routine. I attend a Bible study on Thurs.morning & it was cancelled due to lots of illness in group. Got my hair done this afternoon - seriously needed. Tomorrow I might actually get to spend time in my craft room - so excited!

It's 8am here and I've been up for 2 hours. I don't know why I woke up so early - I don't have anything major to do today. Having breakfast right now, and already have a load of laundry running. Apart from that, I need to do a recycling trip - just a 100m walk, but it's still a bit early - and then I am free for the day. I'll probably spend some time getting all the Easter craft ready for next week, as my cousin will be visiting for 2 days and I won't have time then.

It is 12:15 am here. I am at work. Nothing going on, I am crocheting an afghan and waiting for something to happen. I work until 8 am so I have hours to go. We got a new T.V. yesterday. We got new living room furniture and mounted a new T.V. on the wall. I love it, it is a pretty cool looking living room now. My youngest is turning 13 in a few days and we have noticed lately the house is not as filled with kid stuff. It is kind of cool.

A friend called me today and left her cheating and wife abusing husband this week. She called me from the hiding place. Tomorrow she is going to get legal advice!!! I told her I have some new with tag clothes for her and a TV for her new apartment when she moves in. I am sure there's more we can give her as well. I am so happy she did this.

took a load of stuff from church to dump I bet the church thinks it is more then not much. My DH and I are taking a load of stuff to the dump this weekend. We spent hours last weekend cleaning out offices used by our son's cadet group. There is so much old junk to write off.

we need to clean out 30 yrs of stuff at the church due to big changes, and I got the nursery stuff sorted.. so most of it has to go... moldy and outdated stuff. so I have more to go.. all toys will be in two bins in a closet (we rarely have any kids at church)..it is a hard process. trying to find places for about 40 boxes of classical church music..

Delta Dawn, it's nice to hear you sounding good. How are things in general for you lately? I'm up late as per usual. I spent many hours today and tonight in my craft room/office, prepping materials and making videos of the wedding dress appliques that I sell on YouTube. I did a bunch of cutting, and actually injured my wrist from overuse, so I probably won't be able to do much with my right hand for a day or two. I was looking for something to watch while I worked, and found a very cool series on Hulu. It is called Pioneer Quest, and is a Canadian show filmed in 2000 and 2001. Two couples are living as pioneers from the 1870's on the prairie outside of Winnipeg. They lived in a tent for 11 weeks, I think it was, until they had their cabins built. The weather has been unbelievable. They began filming in June, and were planning to be there for a year. One day in July they received a month's worth of rain in just 4 hours. It was the wettest June/July in many years. The fall was very short, but unusually warm. They are now at the beginning of winter, and the narrator said that the winter will turn out to be the coldest in 120 years! Wow! Anyway, the show is fascinating. I don't know how anyone ever survived with such terrible conditions. The wells in the area were almost all contaminated with e-coli, so they are bringing in water from one clean well on a neighboring farm. If they'd been pioneers in the 1870's they wouldn't have known this, and would have had to use and drink the water anyway, and some of the settlers probably would have died. I really enjoy documentary programming and this is very interesting to me.

If you have any spare good thoughts, can you send them in the direction of Munich. The Family Center where I work is a danger of being shut down. We are based in a former shop on the ground floor of a building. One of our neighbors - an elderly couple - have been trying to have us shut down for 5 years. First they used the argument that we were too noisy, but under German law, children's noise is protected - you can't complain about the noise from a school, kinder or day care centre. When that didn't work, they took us to planning court, claiming we are not a shop, and the space we are in is zoned for commercial use. We did get permission to use it as a community center when we moved in, but they are challenging that. We are back in court this morning to hear from the judge.
