I have seen pictures of peach shaped cookies on Pinterest and would like to try to make them. Do any of you have advice on making these little cuties?? I have found different ideas for filling and decorating them but am not sure which is best???. Any idea of what I could use in place of the alcohol? You can use Peach Lorann oil (available on baking sites or Amazon) if you don't want to use liqueur. You'll have to adjust and test the amount, Lorann oils are highly concentrated. The alcohol cooks off though, if that's your concern.
Edit: Just saw the liqueur is for decorating. I imagine you could use sugar water or some watered down juice instead.

The alcohol is used to paint the cookies after baking. I do not want to buy it just for these cookies. Thanks for the oil suggestion.

Those are the cutest cookies!
I think the Lorann peach flavor might work.
If you want to use alcohol but not have leftovers, liquor stores sell 50ml bottles of peach schnapps for $1, looks like for $3 you'd have enough.

The alcohol evaporates from the cookies as it dries but you could use peach nectar if you prefer.

Use peach jelly/ apricot jam. Warm it up. Then it will be easy to use.
I really would not use oil.
