I think the color of the first dress is hard to wear for some people. How does it look with your complexion? My favorite is #3, but I agree it it is more of fall/winter wedding choice.

YES!!!! I didn't like any of the OP's 3, but LOVE this one that dress you found. Great job! Here's the picture from the link above, click to enlarge.

That's quite possibly the ugliest 'pantsuit' I've ever seen. I think the second dress is the best out of the three but could you do something with pattern? The colour is just too heavy for a summer wedding. Save

I think that may be the problem. I don't really love any of them. I don't mind the David's dress but am definitely not a pantsuit person. Maybe the hunt should continue...

Thank you for your time. I like the dress not so much the pantsuit.

To me they are all so similar that I would pick the one that looks the best on you after you try them on.

I'll admit to not reading the entire thread, but did anyone bring up wearing a coordinating color, rather than purple? Navy or periwinkle color would look lovely with the purple of the bridal party. It would coordinate without looking match matchy, and would open up your options.

Is it really formal or not so much. The top on just isn't formal for me. What does the bride think? Personally I like the middle one. There is something about the 3rd one I don't like. So for me it would go 2 1 3 I agree with freecharlie. The 1st one looks more casual to me. SaveSave

Definitley #1. Its very pretty. I don't think it looks messy at all. I like how it hangs. Then #3. I don't like the sheen or texture of #2.

The colour is just too heavy for a summer wedding. Save This is the year of the pantsuit! While the pantsuit is neither a style nor shade of purple I'd chose or could wear myself, it's similar in color to the first dress option & may be more flattering on than any of the three dresses in the OP. Conversely, depending on the wearer's height & body shape, special occasion pantsuits can also more closely resemble pajamas. Just throwing out ideas, & hope the OP finds her ideal outfit for this occasion!

honestly I don't love any of them. They all look more like fall/winter dresses & the cut is just not that flattering for plus size
did you say it's a summer wedding? won't those be WAY too hot? I would try to find something more summery, and maybe in a complimentary colour also if purple is too hard to find. Plus isn't the bride's mother wearing purple?? won't she be mad if you're in the same colour?

I like all of these better than the ones in the OP. The fabrics look more flowy and summery.

I don't care for #2, although that seems to be the top pick. It's too shiny and doesn't lay right. I really like #3. You can dress it up with a great necklace.

Do you have a Nordstrom near you? Their personal shoppers are great, and it takes some of the fruitless searching off you - plus you can try everything on.

I don't like #2 at all.. Don't care for the fabric or the flouncy thing. I like #3 a lot and #1 it is more casual. I would wear it a lot.

Ooooh I like the top one a lot! My second choice would be the middle one. They both have movement and don't look quite as "monolithic" as the third one. My thoughts exactly
