Before the doctor calls to explain. Sooo, how thick should the endometrium lining actually be without concern? Where are my ovaries? And what about the cyst in my lining that is now hanging out with the fibroids? Apparently there's a party in my uterus.

That sucks! I hope you have gotten a call by now to discuss the results.

I'm surprised that you got the report. When I worked in pathology it never went to the patient, always the surgeon, and they in turn would explain the results to the patient and you could request a copy then.

Yes, I've never received a lab report of any kind from anyone else but my doctor in person (they aren't mailed or delivered online). Almost always what happens is the lab or radiology tech says they will have the report to the doctor no later than 3 days and then when the doctor hasn't called me in 5 days I call the dR office and they say "oh, we just received that report", blah blah blah.

I usually get mine through the patient portal before the doctor calls or sends a letter.

I also usually read my reports on line before hearing from the Dr. Sometimes it freaks me out and sometimes I expect it.

Nope. Still haven't heard from the doctor. Call tomorrow and ask if the Dr can call you to discuss your results. If you have the results, they can get them, even if something has delayed the report on their end.
