Comfort TV? Is that a thing? For me, it means what's on the TV when I'm not really paying attention (doing other things and want background noise) or stitching and want something on TV ... or sometimes just want to veg out and lay on the couch.

Comfort TV? Is that a thing? If the Peas say so, then it must be true, lol. While the West Wing is probably my favorite show of all time, my go-to comfort shows would be Friends, Golden Girls, Sex & the City and Cosby.

Me too, tracylynn!! I just finished watching my dvr'd shows and then I checked online and was very happy. I love shows like that (no violence, no explicit sex, nothing gory--just pure sweetness!). I always tell my kids that I want to watch shows with "sunshine & rainbows," not other icky crap!

Gilmore Girls or Scrubs. I watched them both when I was in the hospital after my accident.

I don't really have a comfort TV show but I can definitely watch The Food Network for hours and hours ... even episodes that I've seen repeatedly ...

DH and I marathoned it one weekend and kept making a "drink of the day". You don't realize how much they drank in that show (+ pills were entirely acceptable back then!!). Such a cool era. I wish I could turn back time and be an adult in the late 60's!!!!!

I'll probably buy it, a Bewitched marathon sounds fun!

Definitely The Office. We were faithful watchers, but stopped after Michael left. Also Gilmore Girls!

Golden Girls. I used to hang out with my grandparents on Saturday nights when I was a teen (weird, right?) They always had card parties and I'd watch Golden Girls in the living room, and make sure the popcorn, candy, and tea kept flowing for everyone. Their house was my refuge from my parents' ugly divorce, so it is literally a comfort show for me. To this day when I hear the theme song to that show, I swear I smell popcorn.
