Friends and Will & Grace.
I had forgotten how much I enjoyed Will & Grace until a network started playing it Saturday and Sunday mornings. We watched it all the way through and now they are re-playing it all over again. As funny as Friends. Love, love, love Karen. The four of them, Will, Grace, "just" Jack, and Karen were great together.

Sex and the City. I will watch it whenever it's on. I can't NOT watch it. I pop in the DVDs when I just need something in the background. Totally my go-to. It's because of lines like this:

wino: I bought Bewitched on dvd!! The entire series! DH and I marathoned it one weekend and kept making a "drink of the day". You don't realize how much they drank in that show (+ pills were entirely acceptable back then!!). Such a cool era. I wish I could turn back time and be an adult in the late 60's!!!!! That's awesome. They do drink a lot in that show now that I think about it, probably another reason I like it lol. I'll probably buy it, a Bewitched marathon sounds fun! Now I just need the I Dream of Jeannie series!!! I follow her on Facebook (she still looks amazing!), and I miss seeing that show too. Good times............

baseball
If I have had a crazy day I watch a baseball game. Even if it's not my Red Sox playing I find comfort and calmness with a game. I have real issues Oct - Apr when baseball is not on.

The West Wing. If it ever gets taken off Netflix, I'll have to buy the DVD's.

This will seem like a strange choice, but I'd have to say The Walking Dead. I'm the only one in my household that watches, so for that one hour I go upstairs and watch in the peace and quiet of our bedroom. I usually take a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a glass of milk with me, but I'm not sure how I cultivated that particular ritual.....

Interestingly, Friends isn't on as much as it used to be. Seems that Big Bang Theory and Modern Family have taken it's place in rerun land.

I Love Lucy. Always has been since I was a kid. I know every line of every episode! I now play silly games with myself; I try to guess what episode it is by the first few seconds - I am never wrong or I mute it and say the dialogue to the scene - I need a life! Attachments:

House Hunters. Pure background noise, nobody gets hurt or killed or maimed. Total comfort food.

Definitely Big Bang Theory. It's one of he only shows I can watch episodes of repeatedly and still enjoy. DH and DD both get a kick out of it and that fact that its still in production so you can catch new episodes or watch hours in syndication is a bonus.

NCIS or Criminal Minds Anytime they are on, I will keep them on in the background. I just feel better when I can hear the TV especially when Rob is gone. Those are shows that I know, and love.

Yes, I have 2 of them
Roseanne and Friends
Whenever I can't sleep or I need to relax, I can watch either of these shows and they comfort me. I think it is partly because I've seen each episode so many times.
