Does anyone else do this? I have a table by the door that I put memorabilia, scrapbooks, photos, maybe a candle or flowers. Sometimes it's seasonal or holiday themed. Right now it's theme is 50th anniversary. It's not finished, I have to get photos for the frame andI can't find my yellow candle. . Before this, it had a bluebonnet / wildflower theme.

No, and now I'm kind of disappointed I don't have anywhere to do this. This is a wonderful idea.

What a wonderful idea! I actually have 2 12x12 frames laying on a chair in my dining room amidst piles of scrapbook stuff. I don't have an entryway or foyer - you just walk in and you're in the living room but I love the idea of a sort of changing exhibit!
I think it would be fun to pull seasonal layout from the past and rotate them! I can see this working for me when my boys move out and I can have soem space in my own house.

No, I have never thought of it. I probably would not do a SB page, but I think it is a wonderful idea. I might do a card, or some other crafty project. Thanks for posting this idea. I love it!

It's a lovely idea. I love the framed layout hanging on the wall.
I do have a layout framed and held in place with magnets in our bedroom. It's an old Creative Memories frame.

No, although I did just look out a book type stand to display one of my niece's paintings on - she's 3 Niece idea if you've got the right space. SaveSave

That is really sweet. I have a clear flip book that sits on a stand that I take out for Christmas that has 21 years of family Christmas pictures. I also have a huge basket filled with small albums from our vacations of just the highlight pictures.

That is a lovely idea! I have my most recent scrapbooks available for looking through, either on the coffee table or on a shelf in the china cabinet, but nothing like this!

I did have some pages on my wall until we decorated last year. And my intention is to frame some and put them up, but... it hasn't happened yet. My walls do have quite a lot of cross stitch on them: some I did and some my Mum and Dad did. My Dad stitched a wedding sampler for us - unusual to see a 20-stone ex-coal miner with a needle in his hand!
I also made a couple of photo cubes a while ago that were on our desks but they'v'e gone now. I'll have to make something i think, your display is lovely.

I got to thinking I don't have a table to put scrapbooks or layouts on but I do have a couple layouts framed and hanging on the wall. On a trip last fall, my DH took a picture of me taking a picture. He then wrote me a short letter saying that he loves watching me take pictures because he knows how much I love to do just that. He gave me both the photo and the letter for our anniversary and said to make a layout using them, which is what I did and have hanging in our family room. It is one of my favorite layouts actually even though it's about me, which I rarely do.

I decorate with scrapbooks, too. I took all the books out of the bookcase at Christmas for my nativities and haven't put them back.. ..Scrapbook on almost every shelf

@elaynef, your table looks so pretty. In my house, someone would lay a stack of mail right in the middle of that setup and ruin the whole effect.

Yes, msliz, flat surfaces get cluttered pretty fast around my house, too. I forgot to mention that I do have a decorative stand that justjac gave me. It's on the counter in the kitchen and I hang the 12 x 12 originals from my family calendar on page protectors from it, and flip to display a different one each month. It looks like THIS ONE

I actually do this in our guest bath. I have a 12x12 frame and change out the layout or patterned paper that fits the seasonal decor. It's fun.

I currently don't but I remember seeing an idea where someone had a sort of 'flip stand' where layouts could be displayed. It was classy and it completely caught my eye!

I LOVE displaying my pages around. In my old scraproom I had a wire where I could clip just finished pages.
Currently, I have an easel that I display a page on a bookshelf. I have another metal clip thing that I can put several pages into and flip to the one I want displayed. It's on the top of a bookshelf. Once I finish refurbishing the house, I'll have my 12x12 layout holders on the wall. You can open them from the front (magnetic hinged front) and easily change your layouts on the inside up on the wall. I still have one easel that needs a home.
Love your display.

That is awesome, @elaynef! So will you swap out that photo in the frame for another one and put that one into an album at some point? I would love to do this, but with my organization [dis]abilities, once the page was on the wall there, that is where it would stay.

I love this idea. I think you'd have to have the right kind of frame so it would be easy enough to swap the pages out

I left them there about a month until I got another inspiration. Then they go into the appropriate album.
