the on the road broadway version I saw was brilliant.. particularly adapted to a smaller stage.
I was happy we got to go.

Sigh.. I left and immediately wanted to go see it again. We have tickets for the traveling show in Charlotte. Nov. 2018. And in London April 2018. (we will only go to London if Lin-Manuel is in it.)

It's all that's on over here. DD is in love w/Lin Manuel. My oldest is a theater kid now and is in her high school production of In the Heights. It is non-stop Lin-Manuel Miranda in my house. Same - she's even listening to Spotify playlists "curated" by him (http://www.latimes.com/books/jacketcopy/la-et-jc-writers-playlist-lin-manuel-miranda-20170322-story.html). And searches YT for videos featuring him. She loves the wedding video. . |

My youngest goes to a theater high school near Times Square and got to see a matinee as a class trip a few months ago and is In LOVE with LMM...

The problem with seeing is that you then need to see it again!
Waiting to see where DD ends up next to make our plans for the third time.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago, I bought the sound track and the Hamilton mix soundtrack. Its my go to to listen to on my way to work.

hard to say. She's waiting to hear from a few places. Still has one that she has to attend the SI to find out anything. Turned down some a contract that was a horrible match for her. Kind of scary as she also turned down at least 10 SI invitations, all with the same "come so that we can consider you for apprentice/second company/etc." Did also get some trainee offers that do not require SI attendance, but I don't think she wants to go to any of those. Might just end up with nothing specific and freelance next year instead.

They were back row, but since the Orpheum isn't very big it didn't matter. I totally want to see it again. So awesome!! |
