I fell asleep around 7 pm tonight and now am wide awake. Hopefully I will get to sleep around 1:30 or 2.
Anyone else up? Want to talk about shoes? Purses? Clothes? Cameras? Nothing? LOL

I'm up! It's 8.25 and I'm harassing my son to get to school. He starts in 20 minutes, it's a 10 minute walk, and he has just started eating breakfast. I'm also waiting for a company to come and unblock a troublesome drain. After that, I need to go back to bed for an hour!

I'm up. Since you mentioned shoes, I'm super disappointed that the label under the tongue my new Chucks has given me some bizarre rash/irritation on the top of my foot. Not sure how to treat it, but it itches like crazy. I love these shoes (have them in this style in black and in white, too) and they're my "go to" shoe. No clue what I'm going to wear to work if this doesn't clear up quickly.

I am up as well. Of course I am up every night working. I am on lunch now though. Speaking of shoes, I got a pair of Teva sandals at the beginning of summer and a stupid piece of padding on the strap is hurting one foot. Just one spot on one foot and it is making me crazy. Love the shoes but after a couple of hours, off they come. I should have returned them but didn't. I keep wearing them, hoping the area will toughen up.

I'm up (it's 9.50 am here). The kids are at school, and the first batch of apple jam is cooling. In between peeling and coring and slicing and cooking, I'm knitting a dress for DD8.

My Ds went to bed a long time ago. I used to have to fight tooth and nail to get him to go to bed. Now he goes when he wants (10:30-11:00) and gets up at 7. I don't know what happened. Between the end of high school and a year later so much has changed. Somehow I have been blessed a million times over.
I think my dogs are out for the night. They wake up now and then to go outside. They are old. The old man is 13.5 and the old woman is 14.5. That is very old for a standard poodle. Love them both.
miominmio I wish I could knit that well. How did you learn? Did you have a grandmother who sat you down and taught you how from a young age? I wish my Dad's mom had been alive to teach me how to crochet. She was a master crocheter!

8.55am here. Just routine here today! I've just run the vac and dusted throughout the bottom floor of the house, got a couple more things to do then it's coffee and out to do some shopping. Whilst out I'm going to stop off and look in my favourite handbag shop!!

Ooooh let's talk purses!!! I have seen lots and lots of Fossil purses I love. Eventually you have to store them and that can be a problem. I store mine on my desk. I have quite a few.
My mother has a nice Coach one. I picked it out for her and it is light, easy to find stuff, and attractive. Kind of a classic kind of handbag. It sits on the dust bag still. I think I will borrow it and not return. She will never know the difference.

I'm a US poster that's still up, but I'm at work on a break, so that goes without saying. . It's a little after 3AM here and on the downhill slope to quittin' time! On the plus side, it's payday, AND we all got bonuses based on number of years employed, so that is definitely a nice extra. Plan on getting my hair cut and colored this weekend with some of it - the rest? Bills, bills and more bills. Such is life.

It't 10.30am and the kids are at school. I'm a student myself, but my classes start next week. So until then, I'm just chilling and enjoying having the house to myself again

It's 4:45am here. I got off work at midnight, then watched the last couple of episodes of True Blood, then decided to wait for my dh to wake up before going to sleep. He just left for work and I'm still not sleepy. Hoping to get some sleep before an 11:30 appt today, because after that I work again til midnight!

Hope those of you that need to sleep are ok now & that the shoulder heals...forgive me for those that I've forgotten, I'm not concentrating well right now!!!

<yawn> It's 5:13am here. I woke up a while ago to go potty and while trying to go back to sleep, I was thinking about my parents. My eyes popped open when I remembered it's their anniversary today- 58 years! Somehow after that I couldn't go back to sleep. Also on my mind- I need to remember to run to the grocery store and back before DH needs the car to go off to his appointments this morning. DD2 is getting engaged today- shh- don't tell! A May 2016 wedding has been being planned on Pinterest for quite a while. DD1 will be going off to grad school in a week (I'm going along to help with driving and meet her "friend" and his family, and to see my parents). DH has to be in two places at once this Sunday and I'm wondering if he realizes it- must mention it to him today. Also, my boss (kind of one of his co-workers) called and left a message saying she needs to talk to him, so I'm wondering if it's just a random work thing on his end, or if she wants me to work more hours/different position. Add my "hormonal insomnia" to the mix, and I didn't bother laying in bed more than half an hour before getting up. I'll probably fall asleep here for a little bit before everyone else gets up. Anywho- someone mentioned Fossil purses-- a few weeks ago I was at Macy's waiting to pick up friends of mine and I saw a Fossil bag on clearance and immediately thought of Donna Downey and Birdgate! It wasn't that same purse (it was just a generic leather handbag with lots of pockets, I think), but that brand will forever remind me of a bird licking a pole!
