Trump's interview with the AP on Friday, showed again he is incapable of telling the truth. The interview becomes so bizarre at times, dementia seems like a real possibility.

I couldn't agree with you more! I was about to go find and post this on the other thread today where folks are saying Trump will be criticized for any little thing.... like congratulating a soldier whose leg just got blown off.
IF YOU ARE A TRUMP SUPPORTER, please come in here and justify this. Stand up for your man!

apnews.com/c810d7de280a47e88848b0ac74690c83couple of excerpts: TRUMP: Well in business, you don't necessarily need heart, whereas here, almost everything affects people. So if you're talking about health care — you have health care in business but you're trying to just negotiate a good price on health care, et cetera, et cetera. You're providing health. This is (unintelligible). Here, everything, pretty much everything you do in government, involves heart, whereas in business, most things don't involve heart. AP: What's that switch been like for you? TRUMP: In fact, in business you're actually better off without it. AP: What's making that switch been like for you? TRUMP: You have to love people. And if you love people, such a big responsibility. (unintelligible) You can take any single thing, including even taxes. I mean we're going to be doing major tax reform.[....] TRUMP: And I don't watch things that I know are going to be unpleasant. CNN has covered me unfairly and incorrectly and I don't watch them anymore. A lot of people don't watch them anymore, they're now in third place. But I've created something where people are watching ... but I don't watch CNN anymore. I don't watch MSNBC anymore. I don't watch things, and I never thought I had that ability. I always thought I'd watch. AP: Sure. TRUMP: I just don't. And that's taken place over the last year. And you know what that is, that's a great, it's a great thing because you leave, you leave for work in the morning you know, you're, you don't watch this total negativity. I never thought I'd be able to do that and for me, it's so easy to do now. Just don't watch. AP: That's interesting. TRUMP: Maybe it's because I'm here. I don't know.

The job of POTUS is bigger than he thought???
Bigger responsibility?? Are you tucking kidding me? Did he expect it to be EASY. Omg...this is so telling.
Human life is the last responsibility on his list..yeah..very telling.
He is so concerned with how he is liked and admired still. That's not dementia..it's narcissism at its finest. He truly IS a Sociopath and this proves it. Himself first, human emotion last...and a whole bunch of fuckwittery in between.
Well he has that at least...no heart.

Worse than that are the polls that Trump supporters do not have "buyers remorse" with their vote and that Trump would win the popular vote if the election was today!!!!
WTF! The morons in this country continue to disgust me.

I found it interesting that the Democrats won the popular vote and lost the election yet, in his mind, this translates to the electoral college being skewed towards the Democrats.

I really hope someone goes thru this article and annotates it with the actual truth and facts. So far I'm up to the part where he's talking about saving money on the F-35 project, and how HE saved 'so much money' on it but I KNOW that's not true.

He absolutely is in the early stages of dementia. You can see it in his eyes and his speech patterns. If you see videos of him when he was younger the difference in his speech and eyes is very obvious. I said the same thing about Reagan in his last term and was harshly chastised for daring to say that but it was true. You mark my word trump has dementia.

I just read most of that interview. I think I lost 12 IQ points. I need to eat a half a bag of Smarties now. Damn... what a mess. I had more comprehensive conversations with the 2nd graders in my classes.

Liberal, Obama supporting Peas sat through 8 years of ridiculous, hateful rhetoric from the right. The President and his family were criticized non-stop. Funny thing is, I don't remember any hairflips or dramatic exits. I don't remember any liberal Pea crying about how she couldn't share her opinion or how "hostile" the other side was. I wonder who the snowflakes really are here.

That would be those that pile-on with personal attacks and demonize those with differing opinions until they go away or at least stop voicing them, because what? They're too delicate to hear it? Snowflakes.

The morons in this country continue to disgust me. I am absolutely flummoxed by that. I would be so embarrassed if I voted for Trump but I would admit I made a mistake and voice my disapproval regarding his flip flops, lies, and terrible behavior. He has proven himself to be every bit as bad as I feared.

I only made it through about half of it. Brag, brag, brag. He can't function without adulation even it he has to make up stuff about himself. And of course, nothing is ever his fault. He's great and everyone who doesn't agree with him is wrong or a bad person.
But I don't know that he has a declining mental state. From what I've read, it seems like he has always been this way.

I didn't participate in any political threads before this election. What I've seen referenced from reading this time around is "libtards" which is awful in and of itself. Was there more? Yes, and you will notice that our resident trump supporter never says what are all of the positive, wonderful things trump has done for this nation, just whines about all the horrible liberals and how mean they are. Gia has repeatedly said she doesn't support Trump, didn't vote for Trump, agrees with some things he's done, and disagrees with other things.

Listening to an interview a while back, I paused the TV and asked DH and the kids who he reminded them of with his rambling half sentences and tangents. They all looked at me for a moment before DS said "grandma". Yup, he sounds very much like my mom trying to have a conversation 2-3 years ago. She is in fulltime care because of dementia now. I also saw the same pattern with Reagan. Trump's narcissism influences what he rambles about (bigly wins, tremendous crowds, etc.), but the often incoherent, rambling way he says it screams dementia to anyone that has been around that awful disease. Or that anyone still thinks anything Trump supporters say will be acknowledged as anything but wrong. She this is where your "argument is flawed. It's NOT a matter of a "correct opinion". You DO NOT EVER congratulate a recipient of a Purple Heart--most especially one who suffered a dismemberment. Try it--Argue that it IS proper to congratulate a now, forever dismembered service person. I dare you. The ONLY correct response is a THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. He SHOULD have known that, having all his bigly words and all. HE WAS WRONG, in every way, on that. Furthermore, the OP WAS CORRECT. His interview was at times, unintelligible, rambling, and his answers irrelevant to what he was being asked. If you feel so strongly that you can defend him on these two things, then do so and stop chastising those who think opposite. Isn't that what you just posted on another thread? Stop the demonizing because of a difference of opinion?

Nothing like the craziness in the transcript that was linked or some of the other more recent ones. There is definitely something going on.

Trump though I see it left & right, he's just like my mother was. Repetitive story's, altered reality, child like responses, etc. I never saw, still don't see any of that in Reagan.
