I have ceramic tile in my kitchen, dining room, hallway and bathroom. What's your method of cleaning your tile? Scrub brush on hands and knees? Mop? What cleaning product do you use? I used to use THIS but when I bought the last shipment from Amazon, it was like they changed the formula. I really liked it because it wasn't foamy/soapy and you didn't have to rinse it. This last time, it got SUPER foamy when I was mopping. It's what I would use for cleaning in between the big cleanings when I use a grout brush and TSP and get on my hands and knees and scrub the entire thing by hand. I try to do it a couple of times a year. Our grout isn't sealed so it gets dirty fairly quickly. And I'm now in the market for something new.

I have brown ceramic tile with black grout, to me it looks sort of Mexican Riviera-esque. (That's me convincing myself not to tear it out this instant and replace with something else!) I have a really hard time finding something that doesn't make it cloudy. Last time, I used the Swiffer wet jet and it was cloudy. So, I got on my hands and knees and used a bucket and brush and Murphy's Oil soap and it was still cloudy. So I sprayed it with vinegar water and used just the pad part of the Swiffer system, and it was still cloudy, so I left it. After a few days buffing it with our socks, it looks fine.
I'd love to hear what others do. I'm lucky that since the grout is black, it really never looks dirty, so I focus mostly on the tile. The grout is also deep compared to the tiles, so it doesn't get cleaned unless you use a brush.

I have tile in my laundry room, and 3 bathrooms. I use hot water with a little vinegar added and a rag and get down on my hands and knees and scrub it. Now listen, if I had a lot of tile I would come up with a better method. My knees are not what they once were!

I have a Eureka steam mop. It works pretty quickly and does a good job of cleaning the tile. Doesn't help the grout much though.

I hate tile. I hate it with the passion of a million white hot suns. The only tile I have in my house is in the bathrooms, but that is two rooms too many. Nothing I do cleans it sufficiently for me. It is never clean, when it gets damp cat hair wants to stick to it, it gets dusty in the time it takes me to clean it, the groat is icky, the list of why I hate it goes on and on. Did I mention how much I hate tile??

And those are the hated tile. LOL

I love ceramic tile! I'd love to have it throughout our main floor.
Cleaning.... I've always used vinegar and water with a mop. Now grout is a different story. The grout in our current house is dark. Our last house I made the mistake of putting in light grout. I did seal it but ick. It turned dark. So, how do I clean grout? It gets as clean as its going to get with the vinegar and water mix.

Dogs are great for day to day maintenance... I use Oxyclean, mix it up in hot water then slop it on with a towel. Let it sit for a bit and rinse clean with a towel. I use a Cuban Mop to push around the towels.
