I was wondering if hsn was going to have a 24 craft day in May. I searched and they have one coming up on May 9th. Just thought you wanted to know too.

Your welcome. I hope they have some good stuff. I'm tired of the abundance of Anna Griffin. I do like her but I'd like to see more companies selling their products on these craft days too. Gesssh criuct/ Anna consumes these shows

I agree about needing new companies. I too like Anna Griffin but only for card kits...my layouts dont work with her style. Notice how Three Birds disappeared. i am sick of dies and all the electronic cutters. I would like some fresh new things.

I always like watching the craft shows on HSN. There used to be more companies and products on there though. Now, they have whatever the Today's Special Value is on every hour, and it usually takes up 20-30 minutes each airing. Would love to see more craft companies on these shows.

I was looking to see what is going to be aired. Anna griffin has a shaker card kit that looks interesting. I wonder if that's the today's special value.

Their TV listing said that Crafter's Companion will be on at midnight, which means that they have the TSV. I am wondering if it will be Gemini electric die cutter. Does anyone have one. I have been wanting to get an electric one; I am frustrated with the Cuttlebug because it doesn't stay suctioned to the table when I try to use the larger dies.

I'm not in the market for a die cutting machine. I have a Cricut explore air.

It seems that lately their specials are all electronic or manual die cutters. i agree with the above posters--Anna Griffin, Spectrum Noir Pens, and some storage stuff. Plus a lot of these items are cheaper on Amazon. I guess I'm spoiled since I remember the QVC scraping shows. They really had some great deals.

According to Crafters Companion, the Today's Special will be Crafter's Companion Pop-Out Card Bundle Items #542-699 It will also be available on some type of auto ship program.
I have the Gemini and love it. At first I was afraid of getting the plates stuck, but quickly determined the sandwiches for my dies and embossing folders. I've had better consistent results with thin dies using the Gemini than my Cuttlebug. But that could just be me and my particular machines.

I've already ordered the Crafter's Companion Idea Magazine with Accessories. There are so few magazines for papercrafters out there anymore I didn't want to miss out.

I really want the Anna Griffin Sentiment Stamp and Dies. The look really nice. Me too! But I couldn't find them on the lineup for any of the shows tomorrow, despite their presence on AG's blog. I hope they will really be offered - and that they won't sell out too fast!

They sometimes hold off posting some of the items online until later in the day so they don't sell out before the later shows. I have had luck ordering items that are not posted on the website by phone. Good luck. I am a big Anna Griffin fan.

I have been watching, but so far have resisted any temptation. I do think they really need to have the people who are demonstrating the products have some expertise with the products they are showing. I did find the demo for the Crafter's Companion calligraphy brush tip pretty funny as the live direct freehand results were disastrous and looked pretty much like what I would get if I tried to use them - terrible. I am currently watching the WRMK sewing machine and the person demoing it doesn't seem to know what she is doing either - she tore the card she was sewing, doesn't seem to understand how to feed either the paper or material straight or to get a nice even stitch and totally messed up by not pulling the bobbin thread to the back which resulted in having an additional thread running along side and/or through the crooked, totally messed up stitches. Based on how these two items were presented, there is no way I would want to buy them as I know I have much less talent than most and if their experts can't get the product to give a good result, there would be no hope for me. Seeing some "truth in advertising" was pretty amusing though.

Seeing some "truth in advertising" was pretty amusing though. There is a blonde chick who claims to craft but every single time she refers to dies as die cuts, I almost fall out of my seat eye rolling and I yell at the TV that DIES ARE FOR CUTTING, DIE CUTS ARE WHAT YOU GET WITH A DIE. I think she's honest about doing the Anna Griffin kits, but I think that's really all she does...things that hand hold. Not to say that doesn't count, but I feel like her acting like she actually knows what she's talking about when most of the time she doesn't irritates me. The hosts SUCK when it comes to crafting because none of them do it. They are all into the jewelry and fashion side of things...not being creative. The way they keep adding more and more crafting shows thanks to their ties with American Crafts, they need to either have a dedicated host or bridge the gap by finding a host that can sell other things but has a strong skill set in crafting. The worst part is that the hosts never shut up, even though they know nothing...if they are going to suck at even pretending, they should just let the guests do most of the talking because they constantly put their feet in their mouths. It seems to be a case of hosts drawing the short straw having to suck it up and deal with it for the hour(s) they have to other than the one blonde woman who always hosts a good chunk of the day.

I just started watching and have recorded the other shows. I looked to see what had recently aired and didn't see anything tempting. I did grab the xyron mega and tape runner. It's really annoying that it's cheaper to buy the bundle than it is to buy the refills. HL doesn't carry them and I don't think anyone else does. Amazon had them for $8-10 each so it's cheaper to get s new dispenser with refills lol.

Suzanne Runyeon is really a crafter and is the host who really has been responsible for building interest in crafting oh hsn. She use to sell on QVC and jumped to HSN when QVC decided to eliminate selling scrapbooking and other craft items, I still miss those days on QVC. Boy, if HSN did't have these regular craft days, we would have nothing on TV. HSN typically gets the new hot items before they show up in the big box stores. Oh, I miss local scrap stores...they use to be so fun.

I just started watching about an hour ago. I also checked online to see what they'd had earlier. Seems it's mostly cardmaking items and I don't make cards. If I did the Anna Griffin stamped sentiments and dies set would be nice. Oh well, too bad for me but great for my budget.

I was tempted by the Anna Griffin Sentiment Stamp and Dies though. I was tempted by these to and then remembered I have tons of sentiment stamps and the outside shapes as well and the cartridge for my cricut that matches many of these. Several of her things have been tempting but the kits are just way too big for me.
