I passed on all the stuff. I have so much stuff already plus I just signed up to go to the quick quotes private reserve. That's going to cost a lot because I have to pay for airfare and hotel on top of it.

The heatwave tool looks kind of cool but I so don't need more. I would rather buy from a few other places where I already a wishlist and I am pretty sure Elle's studio is going to have something I want on the 10th.

I bought the brush lettering kit and the Crafter's Companion magazine autoship. I have an HSN card, so I got 6 Flex Pays on each. Happy Mother's Day to me!

I have been watching, but so far have resisted any temptation. I do think they really need to have the people who are demonstrating the products have some expertise with the products they are showing. I did find the demo for the Crafter's Companion calligraphy brush tip pretty funny as the live direct freehand results were disastrous and looked pretty much like what I would get if I tried to use them - terrible. I am currently watching the WRMK sewing machine and the person demoing it doesn't seem to know what she is doing either - she tore the card she was sewing, doesn't seem to understand how to feed either the paper or material straight or to get a nice even stitch and totally messed up by not pulling the bobbin thread to the back which resulted in having an additional thread running along side and/or through the crooked, totally messed up stitches. Based on how these two items were presented, there is no way I would want to buy them as I know I have much less talent than most and if their experts can't get the product to give a good result, there would be no hope for me. Seeing some "truth in advertising" was pretty amusing though. There is a blonde chick who claims to craft but every single time she refers to dies as die cuts, I almost fall out of my seat eye rolling and I yell at the TV that DIES ARE FOR CUTTING, DIE CUTS ARE WHAT YOU GET WITH A DIE. I think she's honest about doing the Anna Griffin kits, but I think that's really all she does...things that hand hold. Not to say that doesn't count, but I feel like her acting like she actually knows what she's talking about when most of the time she doesn't irritates me. The hosts SUCK when it comes to crafting because none of them do it. They are all into the jewelry and fashion side of things...not being creative. The way they keep adding more and more crafting shows thanks to their ties with American Crafts, they need to either have a dedicated host or bridge the gap by finding a host that can sell other things but has a strong skill set in crafting. The worst part is that the hosts never shut up, even though they know nothing...if they are going to suck at even pretending, they should just let the guests do most of the talking because they constantly put their feet in their mouths. It seems to be a case of hosts drawing the short straw having to suck it up and deal with it for the hour(s) they have to other than the one blonde woman who always hosts a good chunk of the day. A thousand times yes to this - and to what missymarlin said. The gal they had on late last nite (a presenter - not a host) was great. She was demonstrating the Scan-n-Cut and she did a great job. Wish I paid attention to her name. The need to hire HER!! I didn't buy anything either. Was tempted by the Xyron that fits both the 5 & the 3.5, but I just bought a new 5 about a year ago, so I can't justify it. Of course, if it takes an accidental tumble down the stairs . . .

I got the AG sentiment stamps and dies! As soon as they came on, I dove in and got them before they sold out.
Happy camper!

Loved her! Thanx for the link - I'm going to check out her stuff.

Julie Fei-Fan Balzer is the queen of the scan n cut. She has a ton of videos on you tube that i watch to figure things out.
She also has a line of mixed media products in b&m stores. I have a few of her stencils.

I did not buy anything on HSN this time. There were a few things I was tempted by, but I didn't cave this time. Of course, Lawn Fawn's new release is coming, and I know I will be buying several of those!

Most of you have more willpower than me! I bought a Gemini machine, I am having some arthritis in my hands that makes it difficult sometimes to turn the crank on my Big Shot. I have a Cricut but don't use it very much because I don't have a place to leave it out and I am lazy and don't want to hook it up just to cut out a few shapes. I am very tempted by the Scan N Cut but held out.
And I bought the Anna Griffin Sentiment stamps and dies.

That is something I wouldn't mind having. My question is can you get the replacement plates and are they expensive. I love that I can get ones for my cuttlebug on Amazon pretty cheap but the Gemini is larger so figure they will be more. I'm still able to use my cuttlebug but figure it will be an issue one if these days.
