She knew who had multiple identities, she knew who posted anonymously. She knew a lot…. and she never shared that info with me, or anyone else on the private gg board. . All I knew was that she knew everything, and she kept her mouth shut. So I gotta hand it to her. Well done.

I agree. I do remember the days when she participated on the regular boards. I don't know how much control she and her husband had over the past few years, but they really jumped out at the forefront when scrapbooking was just taking off. Even though the abrupt ending was harsh, I sincerely wish them well.

every time someone posted anonymously…. about their husbands affair, about their kids getting arrested, people bashing other peas, trolls, she could connect all the dots and she knew who was who and who did what. I would cringe when i saw people thinking they were anonymous. They really weren't. and people shared some really personal stuff… I know she let a few know that she knew who they were. Maybe they got a scolding or temporarily banned, but Im sure after awhile she couldn't keep up with it all and it probably was the last thing she cared about in the recent years.

I felt lost today, like someone very close died suddenly and there was no chance to say goodbye. Even though the way Two Peas ended wasn't the best, I'm still grateful for the past 13 years I spent there. All the tips learned, OMGee moments, other epic hairflips, whackadoos, trolls, good and bad product advice, travel tips, photography help, all of it.
Maybe someday we'll learn about the real 'spreadsheet' . . . Kristina's spreadsheet.

Except for the time about 6-7 years ago when the private GG board accidentally went public in the middle of the night during a troll war phase with the smack blog and there was a post by Kristina offering to spill those exact beans to anyone interested among the GG. She would peamail the info to them. I had just moved from Hawaii to Oklahoma and hadn't made a order with them using my new address. Even though I didn't have two identities or an anonymous account I knew right then I never would be shopping or update my info there either. My privacy did not have the utmost value. I knew she was able to see it all. Her being able to see it didn't bother me. But the offer to share that information with the GG bothered me a great deal.

I can't remember the exact time I left though. She was probably pretty fed up with it all. I am just going to assume its a double edged sword to have a site like two peas. You need the people to come to the site, then at a certain point you can't participate anymore because it's taken on a life of its own. Did anyone save those exposed threads?

I had book marked them but not too long after that tpb deleted the content so my bookmark when no where. I hadn't done a cut/paste on it. Too inexperienced at that point. I'm sure it IS difficult to be owner and have it take on a life of its own

I'm wondering what's next for her and why 2peas went down the way it did. What were all the things that lead to this ending? Best of luck to them. Truly the end of an era.

I bet there is nothing in the pipeline for her. If she had a new idea or new venture she would have used 2 peas as a springboard..... She's out. And I bet she's been out for a long time. I'm sure her kids are reaching an age where momma has to watch them or they might break the law age.... So maybe she's full force with teenagers now.

I thought I was have a brain lapse or something, because I remember that whole incident, which I recall involved one Garden Girl talking about wanting to hit a regular pea upside the head with a stick and Kristina making a comment about having that pea's credit card info. But I'm guessing some are engaging in funeral behavior where the a$$hole behaviors of the deceased are ignored and the great qualities lauded. Which is fine, I'm not knocking that. I'm just glad that someone else remembers some of the not-so-ideal stuff that also happened connected to Kristina.

oh yeah. I'm banned from that last private board that FrugalScrapper and them started after that last mass Exodus from GS. I was telling some of them to STFU, enough of the bitching and complaining, maybe made a reference to husbands not giving them enough attention, lol. Boy that pissed them off but good. ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png)

Well then if she was that invested in the message board, she then actually understood it's value to us, and closing the board with no notice was just wasn't kind.
How do we turn off siggies on this board?
