Do you want to share what the book is ? If not I understand I have no problem sharing! It was a mixed media technique book for scrapbooking: Scraptastic! All the step by step photos inside are my hands, the title is my hand lettering, and the graphic designer did an amazing job with the cover and inside design because she used little bits and details from my pages for the spine, chapter titles, page number decorations, etc. Now see that is just totally cool! I just put that in my Amazon Cart I can't wait to get it. Though I should wait to order. I really want to get started scrapbooking again. I have everything I need except time. I have to finish two more baby blankets though before I can even think about it.

I worked at an amusement park during a summer (Cedar Point) and somewhere out there is a picture of me in that lovely 1 piece polyester zip-up shorts jumpsuit. Working the Blue Streak Depending on the year, my brother might have you in a few of his photos... one of his best friends worked at CP for nearly 6 summers.

I have donated stem cells to my oldest brother - he is now a 5 year leukemia survivor.
I have rolled down a hill in a giant hampster ball called a ZORB.
Edited to add a couple things I forgot about:
I have donated my hair to Locks of Love, grown it out again, and donated it again.
I played with an 8 week old lion cup, and got nipped. That hurt!
I also played with a 6 week old tiger cub, who was much less bitey!

It IS a time consuming hobby -- at least it is, if you are super slow like I am.

I played in a garage band in college.
I got a Taiwanese driver's license.
I attended a private caterered banquet in Versailles -which probably has been the most over-the-top thing I have ever done. We had Versailles all to outselves. It was insanely glamorous!!

Okay-I am also adding:
Robert Redford once held a door open for me.

I was featured in a National Geographic documentary.
I was on a game show (cheesy Canadian show, Split Second with Monty Hall, in the 80s).
I was kissed by a sealion.
I flew around the CN Tower in a small plane. Well, I didn't fly it, lol. My brother did.
I have eaten octopus.
I entered some things in our small fall fair (and won some prizes).
I called my favourite Nascar driver and spoke to him on the phone.
I emailed a message to a gallery that carries the work of one of my favourite photographers, and they forwarded it to him, he emailed me back his phone number, and I was able to speak to him.
I have found about a dozen lost dogs over the years and reuinted all but two with their families.
I was a volunteer head lice checker at one of the elementary schools. (Bet everyone will be envious of that one!)
I worked on our high school newspaper.
I've had letters to the editor published.
I have a copy of a hardcover novel that I wrote. (Published through a vanity press by my late, sweet, best friend ever.)
I've been up the CN Tower.
When I was a child I used to catch snakes, salamanders, frogs, toads and crayfish.
I've been bitten by a raccoon.
I was stung on the lip by a jellyfish.
I've milked a cow.
I petted a baby bobcat.

I had 4 kids, one with pain medicine (not an epidural), one naturally, one C-section and one v-bac (with epidural). Unless there is some other way to have a baby that I'm not aware of I think I have all the methods covered.
Other than that I lead a very boring life because I can't think of one interesting thing I've done besides touching a dolphin when we were in Hawaii.

I personally know over 5,000 sex offenders in CA. Our business used to house and watch the seriously dangerous ones for the state.
I sang for President Gerald Ford when he visited CA.
I won a 1st place in San Jose's hopscotch competition when I was in 6th grade.
I attended the southern most and northern most colleges (SDSU- degrees & HSU -teaching credential) in CA.

Not too exciting compared to most of the things here. I got my motorcycle license at the age of 50. I stood on a sandbag dike and tossed sandbags during a major flood when I was in college. I did the 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk 9 years in a row. I donated to Locks of Love 3 times.

I once catered the food, for two days, for an Alabama concert on the deck of an aircraft carrier. Got to be lifted four or five stories in a basket of a crane to bring the meat onboard and stayed in a motor home for two nights on the deck of the carrier.
I went to the premier of The Gong Show Movie at Chinese Grauman's Theatre and got to walk the red carpet back in the 80s. We partied with Chuck Barris, Ruth Buzzi and Jo Anne Worley.

I have gone parasailing - in St. Martin/St. Maarten
Also there I went topless at the topless beach.
I woke up one day and quit my full time executive secretary job with amazing benefits (like literally "I quit" no notice or anything) to go to bartending school when I was in my 20s, and then went to work as a bartender. OK not so much "WOW" but it was pretty drastic to my entire family, who were freaking out to say the least.

Got my driver's license while living in Japan for 6 months-they drive on the opposite side of the USA and the car had a stick shift, so I had to shift with my left hand instead of my right. I lived for 6 months in an apartment off base while exDH was out at sea for 4 of those months. I was 24-It was very exciting, and a great time in my life.
I've lived in 3 countries-born in Germany/then USA/then 6 months in Japan.
Have flown in a helicopter twice.
Made a vow when I was 17 (1976) to one day get my photos on my favourite singer's album covers. It actually came true in 1991 only by then it was CD's and 6 of my photos were published on the inside jackets of Al Stewart's (remember "Year of the Cat"?) live CD called "Rhymes in Rooms". It was released internationally and you can still buy it on Amazon.
Trained a German Shepherd Dog in obedience, advanced obedience, and off leash training. We were planning to do search and rescue until I came down with a chronic illness.
Started my own business at the age of 30 when my son was a year old and photographed 30 weddings until I put it on the back burner to homeschool him through grades 6-12.
Debbie in MD.

I thought I had maybe done some things until I read this thread! But I've done a couple of sort of unusual things.
I slept alone in the Dunker Church on Antietam Battlefield - didn't see any ghosts though.
I walked home with Kenneth Branaugh and Brian Blessed after their performance of Henry V; later got a nice letter from Kenneth Branaugh that I still have.
Had my photo on billboards advertising tourism in my state

Wow, I'm certainly boring after reading these! That's OK, I'm happy with me and what I've done.
-Put at least my toes in the Pacific (it was December, that water was ICY! COLD!), Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. -Drove (with help) from Dallas to San Diego. Drove (by myself) from Dallas to NJ. -SCUBA certified even though I can't swim. -Kissed AT the Blarney Stone. I wasn't putting my mouth on that thing. Yuck! -Spent the night in the converted stables of a castle. Had dinner in the castle! -Paid 10 cents to cross from TX in Mexico, but paid 50 cents to get back from Mexico to TX. -Pegged a goose with a golf ball whereupon he (or she) promptly pooped. It was one of the first rounds of golf I - ever played. I hit off the T and boom, hit the poor thing. It seemed to be OK. I felt bad. -Ridden one of those water bikes off Wikiki beach.
Hmmm. I've done a lot of water things for someone who can't swim. I better stop that before I push my luck to far. I've hit a goose with a golf ball too! Poor thing honked really loudly!

I shook President Clinton's hand at two different campaign stops in two different cities (Saginaw MI & Boston MA) in 1992 about a month apart. I'm very short so I can usually scoot up to the front of events pretty easily.

Nothing too exciting for me...
I had open heart surgery when I was a kid.
I had my second child in an ambulance.
I weathered a tropical storm in a beach front home one year while on vacation....NEVER - EVER - AGAIN!
I am awe of the exciting things you all have done.

I thought of a few more after reading others. I ran into Bill Rancic and Guiliana in Chicago. We were in line at Garrets Popcorn and as we stood in line smelling the popcorn and waiting our turn I heard a voice that sounded familiar. For a moment i thought I am in a city that I know no one so how could that voice be one I know? I turned around to a dozen or so people and saw Bill! He and Guiliana were dating at the time (it was maybe 2006 or 2007. I had my moment of OMG , got my popcorn and waited out the front door to meet him and take a picture.
I stepped on a toothpick as a child and it went all the way into my foot. Yes, those little toothpicks are sharp enough to do so. I was probably 4-5 and never screamed so loud in all my life. We went to the hospital to get it removed and my dad learned after that to throw his toothpicks into the trashcan.

I rode on the NY subway next to Matthew Broderick and didn't know it was him. He was reading a newspaper and I wasn't paying attention to who was around me. DH noticed, though.
When I was student teaching 20-something years ago, I got shoved into janitor's closet and locked in by a SWAT team who had responded to a call about a gunman at our school. This was before the days of caller ID and someone prank called, claiming to be from the school office. I was in the hallway when 4 armed SWAT guys came around the corner and got me out of the way. Thankfully one of the SWAT guys remembered I was in there and let me out.

Nothing all that exciting for me. I've milked cows and goats. I've pulled a calf out during birth when it was stuck. Both calf and cow were fine. Traveled to all 48 contiguous states in an 18 wheeler when I was 18. I can drive an 18 wheeler. Road a motorcycle from LA to Washington DC 5 times on the Run for the Wall. (and back home again) Swam with barracuda. Wasn't a big deal...didn't know what they were until I asked a fisherman what he was fishing for. Dated a semi famous actor/musician. Watched a Taj Mahal concert from stage right. (Awesome!) Walked a pilgrimage to El Santuario de Chimayo in New Mexico. I once drove from Atlanta to New York just to go to a concert. I was homeless when I was 17 for about a year. I got engaged to a man I had known for two days. Was married for 13 years until he died from cancer. I've been to the Safe House in Milwaukee. I've seen the Thing in Texas Canyon, AZ and lived to tell about it! I've participated in honor guards at the funeral of two Navajo Codetalkers. I had my poetry and short stories published as a teenager. I've gone to Mexico for dental work! I found my second husband on the side of the road. He was working on a fence for his horses.

I skydived solo when I was pregnant (didn't know it) and I was the only girl who actually jumped. The others chickened out at the last minute. I was on a train in the middle of a huge snowstorm back east when the train stopped and we were told to get off. Seriously, in the middle of nowhere. I went parasailing in Cancun. I flew in a helicopter in Maui. Just last year I went ziplining in Maui at age 53. It was crazy fun. I was flown to another city for dinner on a date. And it was before the show The Bachelor even existed. I was chased by a tornado for several miles in my car when I was in college. Fortunately, at the last minute it turned and missed me.
