So apparently there was a 5.2 magnitude earthquake just over the Arizona border, in Lordsburg, New Mexico. My Facebook and Twitter are blowing up with everyone posting about it. Funny thing is, we felt nothing! A friend from high school lives in our area, probably less than a mile away and she felt it. I feel left out!

We felt it in Tucson. I actually thought my son was sick (he was dealing with a stomach bug all day) so our house creaked and banged an I jumped to go check on him...only he wasn't up. I didn't even realize what had happened until I saw Facebook. Lol it was the tiniest tremor here and you would think it was a magnitude 8 in Tucson proper! Crazy bored people in the desert

It's the same for me. If it weren't for Facebook I wouldn't have even known about the earthquake. I felt nothing at my house but apparently a friend that lives about 2 miles away had all kinds of activity.

The only earthquake I have felt here was back around 1981/1982.

Raindancer, we live in Tucson also, but we are on the west side. Nothing on the Eastside. Well except for my friend.

We really do get bored here. I'm on the SE side. It seems like many people just want to say they felt something. For us, it was really not like an earthquake in the unsettling ground moving sense (I've been through a few small ones as a kid).

Also, I didn't realize there were that many of us in Tucson (well three of us anyway.) We should meet up sometime. Coffee or lunch or something. I'm *always* at the University, several times a week during summer and every day during school.

Well, the monsoons haven't started yet so we have to get excited about something. The news sites are still posting about it today on Facebook, yet the there wasn't even a mention on the front page of the paper. Also, I didn't realize there were that many of us in Tucson (well three of us anyway.) We should meet up sometime. Coffee or lunch or something. I'm *always* at the University, several times a week during summer and every day during school. Pretty neat to know there are a few of us in town. A meet up would be fun.

Not Tucson; but I felt it in Sierra Vista.
