Woo hoo! Have fun!
That's my plan for the weekend, once I get my house tidied up a bit.
My pal is coming over tonite for some scrappin' and then tomorrow my sister, same pal & another are coming for an all day scrappylicious time! If we have any energy left, pal from Friday is coming back on Sunday so we can call it a full scrappy weekend.

I'm sending DD, DH and the two big noisy dogs off to the lake for the weekend, and my friend is coming for the weekend to scrap. A couple of friends might come on Saturday or Sunday for a while to work on stuff too.  My work tables are mostly cleared off, but my desk is still a total disaster so I'll probably end up spending a couple hours cleaning that up and putting things away. My goal is to get a few unfinished projects done that have been sitting here for months, and to maybe go through and organize a few other projects I'd like to start a couple months from now when my studio is finished. Maybe if there is still some time, I can pull together and label the stuff I want to take to my friend's sale next month. It will be so nice to have a couple of days here at home to work on whatever I want uninterrupted! |

I'm so jealous!! My kids don't start school until Monday and I am so anxious to get some alone time in my craft room. It has been very neglected this summer. But I've managed to accumulate LOTS of new goodies and organize my room just a bit. I can't wait to get in there, jam to some loud music and get lost in my creating! Have fun goobernut2!!

I'm actually in my craft space too! The kids are playing happily together and I found myself with a little time on my hands. Had to clean my table, but finally found some space to work on a layout. It feels soooo good! Happy scrapping!

Well, my girlfriend bailed on tonite. Apparently there's family drama. Should make for some interesting conversation for tomorrow! At least I'll get to keep up w/Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Makin' the Team tonite, lol.
Got a lovely phone call from another pal, so there will be 4 of us tomorrow! Yippee!! Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, a yummy salad for lunch, Chinese for dinner, snax, chatting, music and of course, scrappin'!
I can't wait!

Wow, that was fun! I got two layouts finished up that I had started months ago, three more two page layouts done and one more totally assembled except for the photos (because I didn't have them all printed and I need enlargements, but the photos have been picked out). That is more than I have ever accomplished in one weekend, even at a retreat! I also got some stuff organized that had been kind of a mess, found some photos I had misplaced a while ago, ordered a photo CD of some pictures my niece had taken at DD's birthday that I want to edit a bit and reprint (the original ones I had were too dark), and tried out the Selphy I got for Mother's Day. My friend got a lot done too. I really need to do this more than once every six months! |

I didn't get quite that much accomplished (finished up 1 layout and did 2 more), but we had fun. The best was when my friend & I were at the kitchen table, ordering from scrapbook.com on my laptop and my husband teasingly asked us why we weren't doing this downstairs. Our answer was because my sister & our other friend were shopping at another site on our other computer.  |

I (finally) had a bunch of time to spend in my scrap room this weekend AND felt motivated at the same time! Got so much done this weekend! I actually see the end of my current project (Disney album) in sight and every page I finish makes me giddy. SO CLOSE!!!
